Characters Intro

Arhaan Punj :
A 25 yr old middle class boy from Rajasthan. Called as Ladoo by his family members. Finished his B.com and currently pursuing a course in acting in a film institute in Mumbai. A very shy person and mama's boy. Doesn't speak much. Very patient. But once he loses his patience his anger has no limits and it takes a day's time to cool him down. He s very sincere and needs everything to be on time. A very caring, lovable and a protective person. Little possessive. Anyone would fall in love with him at one look has killer looks.
His family consists of his papa Mr. Punj, mama Mrs. Punj. Two elder sisters Simran Kaur, Naina Singh both married. Has a nephew named Rohan (his first sis's son). Being Last in the family (Ladla) is always pampered except his dad who is a strict person.

Pooja Chopra:
A 19yr old girl born in Ahemdabad, Gujarat and bought up in Mumbai. Called as Rano by family. Is a very bubbly and chirpy girl. Beautiful and anyone will fall in love with her at first sight. Gets angry easily and cools down the moment. A lazy and needs a push for all she does. She is into her third yr of college pursuing a B.com degree.
Her family consists of her papa Mr. Chopra and mama Mrs. Chopra. Has a younger brother named Akshat (called as aki) who, is in his first yr of junior college.

Little did they know that they were destined to be together for rest of their lives.

Chapter 1

Its Mumbai, 8.00 AM in the morning and our Rano is still fast asleep. There's voice calling Rano Rano its Mrs. Chopra

Mrs. Chopra: Rano, beta bahut derr ho chuki hai utho. (she is in Rano's room sitting by her side)

Pooja: Kya mummy aap bhi abhi mere semester holidays chal rahe hai thodi derr aur sone dijiye na.

Mrs. Chopra: tu aise nahi maanegi na,

She calls her son aki. Hearing this she gets up hurriedly. (This is because her bro would come straight and shout inside her ears to wake her up)

Pooja: Nahi mummy, main uth gayi.

She gets up and goes into the washroom reluctantly. Her mom smiles and thinks to herself Yeh kabhi nahi suderegi.

Just then pooja comes out and asks her mom a cup of tea. Goes into the hall and her dad is hurriedly having his breakfast. She takes the newspaper. She goes through it and suddenly takes notice of an advertisement.

"Auditions for Balaji Telefilms' new show Kitani Mohabbat Hai is on"

She gets really excited and takes down all the details of it Venue, date and timings. She is in her own dreamland dreaming of becoming a star. Just then her dad calls,

Mr. Chopra: Rano'.

There is no reply he calls again

Kahan khoyi hui ho tum.

Pooja: Nahi papa, wo wo ''.

Just then her dad tells, "mujhe office ke liye bahut derr ho rahi hai. Shaam ko baat karte hai." He leaves

Pooja goes to her mom and tells her that she wants to pursue her career in acting and has got a good opportunity to work with one of the top banners.

Pooja: Mummy, wo'. audition chal rahi hai balaji telefilms ke naye show ke liye. Kya main jaaoon ?

Mrs. Chopra is little hesitant but she doesn't want to disappoint her daughter by telling no.

Mrs. Chopra: Agar tum chahathi ho to teek hai mujhe koi aitraaz nahi hai. Par papa se pooch lo

Pooja: Thank you so much Mummy. Saying so, she hugs her and leaves the room.

The most important thing which Pooja failed to see is that the audition was for supporting actor role.

In her room, she is quite excited but at the same time she is afraid about what her dad would say, whether he will allow all such thoughts running inside her mind and opens her cupboard to find out a good dress which she would wear it on that day so that she can look at her best. Her phone rings up just then and its her friend Tina. Pooja picks up the call

Pooja: Hey Tina tujhe pata hai balaji telefims ke auditions shuru hone waali hai do din baad.

Tina: Wow yaar, Pooja tu jaa rahi hai?? Ghar pe mummy aur papa ne kya kaha.

Pooja: Mummy ne to permission. Papa abhi office gaye hai, shaam ko aate hi pooch loongi. Thoda darr lag raha hai yaar pata nahi papa permission denge ya nahi.

Tina: Don't worry yaar sab teek ho jaayega aur waise bhi tere papa to jaante hai ki bachpan se tera sapna raha hai star ban ne ka.

Pooja: I hope so. Achcha teek hai main tujh se baad mein baat karti hoon.

Tina: Ok bye.

Its 10.00 AM and Pooja is waiting for her dad to come.

It's the railway station and our Ladoo gets down from the train and takes up a taxi. He resides in a boy's hostel. He is on his way to his institute. It takes half an hour from the station and he gets call on the way. He sees the display and smiles.

Arhaan: Hello Mama, Kaisi hai aap? Papa kaise hai?

Mrs.Punj: Main teek hoon beta. Tu kaisa hai? Teek se khana khate ho na? Apna khayal rakho teri bahut yaad aati hai Ladoo.

Arhaan: Mama aap bhi na roz phone karti hai aur yahi bolti hai kit eek se khana khaao, apna khayal rakho. Main bada ho gaya hoon aur aap meri fikar karna chod dijiye

Mrs.Punj: Haan haan jaanti hoon tu bahut bada ho gaya hai. Par mere liye ab bhi tu mera chota sa Ladoo hi hai jo hamesha apni mama ke pallu pakad ke chaltha hai.

Arhaan: Achcha teek hai meri class shuru hone waali hai baad mein baat karta hoon

It is six in the evening and Ladoo is returning back to his hostel. He gets all those flashbacks of how he made himself strong to leave his family and convince them to let allow him his career in acting. Flashback

Arhaan places a form in front of his dad and tells "Papa wo maine acting institute join karna chahtha hoon. I want to become an actor, Papa."

Mr.Punj: Kya?? Nahi main chahtha hoon ki mera beta khoob padai kare aur achche company mein kaam kare. Khoob tarkki kare.

Arhaan: par papa meri interest padai mein nahi hai. Main ek bahut aur achcha star ban na chahtha hoon.

Mr.Punj to Mrs.Punj, tum apni ladle ko samjhaao usse kaho ki acting bahut mushkil hota hai aur uss mein naam kamaana itna aasan nahi hai aur bahut waqt lagtha hai. Agar kuch kar nahi paaya to saari zindagi barbad ho jaayegi.

Mrs.Punj: Aap usse discourage kyun kar rahe hai. Wo hamara bachcha hai hame uss par vishwaas karna chahiye. Wo zaroor kuch kar dikhayega. Please maan jaayiye aur usse permission dijiye.

Mr.Punj: Achcha to tum bhi isske saath mili hui ho.

Saying so, he leaves. Arhaan goes into his room he is really feeling very bad. Mrs.Punj follows him and consoles him, "Ladoo, aise udaas nahi hote. dekho papa zaroor maan jaayenge. Wo tujh se bahut pyaar karte hai. Bas darthe hai kyunki tu hamara ikloutha beta jo hai.

Mr.Punj's phone rings its Arhaan's sis Simran.

Mr.Punj: Simran beta tum kaisi ho ghar pe sab kaise hai??

Simi: Sab teek hai papa. Mujhe aap se Ladoo ke bare mein kuch baat karni thi.

Mr.Punj: Jaantha hoon kya bolne waali ho. Main kabhi uski permission nahi doonga

Simi: Par papa aap usse samjhiye aaj tak usne aapki har baat maani hai kabhi aapko sharminda nahi kiya hai. Aaj bhi yahi chahatha hai ki aapki marzi se wo aapna career mein aage bade. Agar wo actor ban na chahtha to iss mein kya boorai hai. Aaj tak uski zindagi mein aapki marzi chali hai. Par iss baar usse apne sapna karne dijiye. Please.

Saying so she keeps the phone crying. Mr.Punj thinks over it again and takes the form and signs it up. The next morning it's a surprise for Arhaan. He sees the signed form and he is overjoyed and goes straight into the kitchen hugs his mom and tells, "Mama, papa maan gaye unhone sign kar diya"

His mom is very happy. Seeing them both happy, Mr. Punj comes in. He says, " Ladoo maaf kar de beta tujhe bahut takleef di maine. Teri zindagi hai, tu apni marzi se jeeyega. Main tujhe force nahi karoonga. Waise main tere liye wahan ka rehne ka intzaam bhi kar chukka hoon"

He hands out a paper on which the details of the hostel is written where he is to stay. Arhaan is too happy and he hugs his dad.

Arhaan call his sis " Di, thank you so much mere liye aapne papa se baat ki"

Simi: Bas bas bahut formal ban ne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Tu mera bhai hai aur main jaanthi hoon ki actor ban na tera bahut bada ambition hai. Waise apna khayal rakh, Ladoo. Hum sab tujhe bahut miss karenge.

Arhaan: Main bhi aap sab ko bahut miss karoonga.

(Flashback ends)

Arhaan thinking about all this, smiles with tears on his eyes.

Here Pooja's dad has returned and all are on the dining table.

Pooja: Papa, aap jaante hai na hi mujhe acting ka kitna shouk hai aur bachpan se hi main ek achcha actor ban na chahthi.

Mr.Chopra: Haan, To??

Pooja: Ab ek mauka aaya hai mere sapne poore karne ke liye. Auditions shuru ho rahi do dino baad. Balaji Telefilms ken aye show ki'.

Mr.Chopra is silent for sometime. Pooja is having her fingers crossed. All are looking towards him.

Mr.Chopra laughs out loudly and says," Rano, ye tera sapna raha hai to main kyun rokunga tumhe. Tu jaa, Main bahut khush hoon tere liye "

Pooja is too happy that her dreams are coming true. Mrs. Chopra is still not happy. Mr. Chopra convinces her. He says her not to worry as he knows his daughter is very samjhdaar

Chapter 2

It's the audition day and Pooja is there in the Balaji studios. She is dressed in a white salwar with her hair left free. She looked too beautiful that all the girls present there felt a little insecured. The guys were awestruck. Just then she reached the office and was waiting for her turn. While she was waiting she took a notice of the banner kept which read "Auditions for the role of Supporting actor". Pooja got disappointed. She started cursing herself for not reading the Ad properly. She didn't know what to do whether to go in or leave the place. She called up her dad immediately,

Mr.Chopra: Rano beta, bol auditions sab ho gaya?? Kya kaha selectors ne?

Pooja: Papa ye role supporting actor ka hai. Maine abhi abhi dekhi hai. Bahut confused hoon. Kya karoon main audition doon ya nahi???

Mr.Chopra: Rano, dekho koi bhi role chota bada nahi hota aur waise bhi ye tera first show hai. Agar tujhe ye role mila to teri debut ek bahut hi bada aur famous banner ke saath hoga aur tujhe maula nahi khoni chahiye. Aise mauke baar baar nahi milenge.

Pooja: Thank you so much Papa. Aap se baat kar ke mere saare confusions door ho gaye. Main aap se audition ke baad baat karti hoon. Bye

Mr.Chopra: Bye. All the best.

Now Pooja was clear. She went in gave all the tests. She had been said that she would be getting a letter and call as well. She was happy and came back home.

Few days later, she gets the letter that she has been selected for the role. It specifies that the name of the role is Purvi Sharma, elder sister of the Heroine and other details regarding the role and the shoot starts in week's time. Reading this, she started jumping with joy and the entire family is happy with the way things are turning out.

The day comes and Pooja leaves for the shoot. Days pass, she is extremely happy excepting that it is very tiresome but still she is enjoying work.

One year has passed by and Pooja's role in the show has got over and her work has been noticed by one and all in the industry. With the kind of recognition that she has got, another banner named Wakwater productions have already planned to cast her the lead of their show

"Man Ki Awaaz…. Pratigya"

She gets a call from the banner

Person: Hello, Pooja Chopra?

Pooja: Ji haan

Person: Main Wakwater production house se bol raha hoon. Hum ne aapko humare project ke lead role ke liya choose kiya hai. Humare producer ma'm aap se milna chahthi hai kal.

Pooja: Ji teek hai. Kab aana hoga?

Person: Subah teek 10.00AM. Aapko show ke saare details mil jaayenge. Thank you.

Pooja: Ji main paunch jaaoongi.

She is happy and dancing. Her mom and dad are totally happy.

Auditions are going on for the hero role and Ladoo comes there with his portfolio. All the tests were over and the result was announced the same day.

It was announced that Mr. Arhaan Punj has been chosen for the role. Arhaan is jumping with joy. He meets the producer in her office the same day. She gives him a briefing about the character. She tells the name of the character Thakur Krishna Singh. Based in Allahabad (UP) and he will have to speak to Allahabadi for the role. Moreover, Krishna is uneducated, a spoil brat of a goonda dad. She asked him about whether he will do it.

Arhaan: Ji for sure. I am extremely happy that my first role itself is very challenging. Being a Punjabi, I have got to play a UP boy and speak a different language.

Producer: That's good. Shooting will start by next week as all the roles have been finalized excepting the heroine's role which will also be over by tomorrow. Details about other characters in the file I have given to you.

She also shows him Pooja's photo.

Producer: If all goes well she will be your heroine.

He is totally taken by her beauty. He feels very strange when he sees the photo as though an iced water has ran through his spine and feels butterflies flying in his stomach.

Producer: Excuse me, kya hua aap chup kyun ho gaye? Ye ladki already debut kar chuki hai. Bahut achchi actor hai

Arhaan comes back to normal and instead of giving her the photo takes it with him and tells " kuch bhi to nahi. Main aap ko set miloonga" and he leaves.

He goes back to his room. Gets a call

Mrs.Punj: Ladoo kya hua?? Pata hai mujhe subah se kitni tension ho rahi thi

Arhaan: Mama aapka beta actor ban gaya. Mere sapne poore ho rahe mama. Main bahut khush hoon.

Mrs. Punj: Achcha iss badi khushi aur kya ho saktha hai. Le papa se baat kar.

Mr.Punj: Tune kar dikhaya Ladoo. I am vey proud of you. Waise show ka naam kya hai, usme tera role aur aur…

Arhaan: Papa relax, show ka naam hai "Man ki awaaz …. Pratigya". Baaki sab kuch aap khud hi dekh lijiye. Agar main aapko abhi bata doonga to mazaa kaise aayega. Achcha teek hai main rakhtha hoon mujhe di ko bhi batana hai.

He makes a conference call to both his sis, before they could pick up he again takes out Pooja's photo and goes to his own dreamland.At the other end both his sister's are shouting hello, hello….

Simi: Ladoo phone kar ke kahan kho gaya tu???

Naina: Arre tu kuch boltha kyun nahi??

He comes back to normal, " haan di, wo maine aap ko ye bataane phone kiya hai ki main select ho gaya" and gives all the other details.

Simi and Naina: Ladoo, hume to bahut khushi ho rahi hai. Ab to hum tumhe TV pe dekhenge.

Simi: Ek minute, waise ye bataa teri heroine kaisi dikhathi hai?? Tu usee ke khayal mein khoya hua tha na. Bol..

Arhaan: aisi koi baat nahi hai di. Abhi heroine finalise nahi hui hai.

Naina: Jhoot mat bol. Achcha teek hai choda, tu ek saal se Mumbai mein reh raha hai tujhe ek bhi ladki nahi mili.

Simi: Arre naina tu to jaanthi hai na humare ladoo ko usne kabhi kisi ladki ko sar uthke dekha hai kya. Ladkiyan baghthi hai iske peeche. Ye to itni sharmeela hai ki mujhe to kabhi kabhi darr lagtha hai ki iski shaadi hogi ki bhi nahi.

Arhaan: Arre aap ko log ye kaisi baatein kar rahe hain.

Naina: Kyun teek hi to keh rahi hai Simi.

Arhaan: Main phone rakhtha hoon warna aap log mujhe aise chidathe rahenge. Bye.

Naina: jab bhi ladki ki baat ho to phone kaat detha hai

Simi: haan haan kaatne do. Dekhthe hai kitne din tak aise chalega.

Here Arhaan couldn't take his eyes off her. He could not explain what is happening within him.

Next day, Pooja at the office. She meets the producer and gets the briefing about her character, the show and other characters. "Dekhiye aapka naam hai show mein, Pratigya Saxena. An educated daughter of a Professor, who his very strong and cannot tolerate anything wrong or things against law."

Pooja accepts the role immediately as it would totally different from her previous role. A file is given to her with all details and Arhaan's photo is shown. She sees and feels like she knows him for years. Both are waiting for the day for the shoot.

Chapter 3

Pooja has somehow managed to complete her degree by half attendance and proxies.

The day has come and both are on their way. Arhaan has already reached as he has habit of coming before time. He is dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt. Rest of the cast has also almost arrived and our heroine ji is yet to come. All are introducing themselves to one another.

Just then Pooja arrives sharp on the dot, dressed in a beautiful red salwar as it's the first day and to give a traditional touch. She was entering the sets hurriedly and bumps into Arhaan who catches her before she could fall and both share an eye lock. In a minute, Pooja comes back to normal and picks all her things. Both introduce themselves to each other and shake hands. Arhaan tells within him, "yaar photo to kuch bhi nahi hai. Saamne to zyaada khoobsoorat hai". She shakes him, he comes back to normal and both move. Both keep looking at each other time by time. They feel like they know each other for ages.

It was the first scene, the intro of Pratigya Saxena and her family. The shot came up very well. Meanwhile, Arhaan was busily concentrating on the dialogues and body language as he wanted it to be perfect. He wanted everyone to accept him as a UP boy, uneducated, rough, adamant. It was difficult because in the real he was entirely opposite. His shot was ready.

For the first scene he was wearing a red shirt and a pair jeans with a silver belt like around his waist, a bracelet in his right hand and a chain (He already was wearing a ring and a chain given to him by his parents).

The first scene was two people fighting and Krishna standing atop with his two friends Tunna Chandu and watching it just then Angad comes and asks to kidnap a girl named Pratigya who had insulted him by slapping and the scene continues. A lot of takes for this scene was taken as the other characters were not getting the dialect properly. The scene was finished with some difficulty.

It was lunch and all others had bought lunch from home. Arhaan had to order it from out. But before Arhaan could do so, Pooja offered him her lunch and said you can share it with me.

Pooja: Arhaan aap mere lunch share kar sakthe ho

Arhaan: Thank you. Waise khaana aap ne banaya? (He liked her bubbliness, her smile and the amount positive energy she had. She brought in happiness wherever she went)

Pooja: Nahi. Mere paas itna time kahan hai. Mujhe to uthke tyaar ho kar aane mein hi derr ho jaata hai. Mujhe jaldi uth ne mein takleef jo hoti hai. Waise aap mujhe tum keh ke bhulaiye.

Arhaan: Tum bhi mujhe tum keh kar hi bhulana.

Saying so, he lets out his hands and asks her, "Friends?" Pooja accepts his friendship.

Pooja: Achcha tum bataao apne bare mein kahan rahte ho, family ke baare mein sab???

Before Arhaan could tell, the person who plays the character Pratigya's sister in the show joins them. Her name is Sonali

Sonali : Hi, can I join you guys?

Pooja: Of course.

Arhaan then tells everything about him and his family and then came Pooja and Avantika's turn to tell about them. All the three were interestingly chatting that they did not realize time.

Pooja: Waise Arhaan tumhe mushkil nahi hui kya, Allahabadi dialect bolna aur goonda jaise act karna. Tum to itni silent ho real mein.

Arhaan: Jab mujhe pata chala ki mera character aisa hai to main ne bahut homework ki khoob practice kiya. Allahabadi slang seekhi.

Sonali : Wow yaar. Waise bahut handsome ho tum. Aaj white shirt with blue jeans mein aaye the ek dum mind blowing lag rahe the.

Arhaan: Thank you. (He felt embarrassed and did not like her flirting with him)

Just then they heard a voice that lunch time is over and the next shot is ready. Quickly changed their costumes and came. The scene where Krishna and Pratigya are going to meet for the first time was to be shot. At the end of the scene where the dialogue was " Sheher mein itni badiya cheez hai, nazar nahi padi yaar." He felt as though it was coming out from his mind.

The shoot went on till 10.00PM and it was pack up. Pooja and Arhaan had a laugh at the end of the day seeing their scenes. Sonali came in between and joined them. Arhaan did not like whenever Sonali came between him and Pooja. He knew it was bad think that way but could not help it. All the three traveled together. Arhaan was the last to be dropped and he waited for the next day.

Pooja came home and was talking only about Arhaan. Her mom naughtily asked, "Tere serial pe kya sirf do log hai? Jab se aayi hai Arhaan ke siwaay kuch nahi bol rahi hai."

She felt embarrassed. Just then she got a call it was her boyfriend Mr. Vishal Davey who has also been in the industry but could not do much.

Vishal: Hi Pooja, kaisa raha aaj ka din? Tumhara shoot kaisa tha?

Pooja: Vishal tum sheher wapas kab aaye? Waise mera din to ek dam mast raha.

Her mom watches on. Though her family knows about their affair, they did not like Vishal much. They felt he is not the best suit for her daughter but still did not tell Pooja anything about it. Her mom wanted her daughter to realize herself what true love was and that Vishal is not her match. Just by hearing about Arhaan she liked him and wanted to see him. On the other hand, Pooja was busy on the phone.

[Vishal Davey, egoistic and rough guy, made his debut long back but could not make place for himself and was struggling. He met Pooja when she was doing Kitani Mohabbat Hai through some friends. He was taken by her beauty though did not love her truly, was behind her for all the fame, name and money. He was insecured and doubted her always. Pooja thought she loved him. Vishal and Pooja had been dating now for seven months] Little did she know that " PYAAR HO JAATA HAI KIYA NAHI JAATA"

Arhaan had told his whole family about Pooja. He did not know what was happening to him. He picked up his mobile to tell his sisters but stopped himself as he knew they would tease him.

His sisters had called him once (they always do a conference cal only)

Simi: Ladoo kaisa hai tu?

Naina: Tu bahut achcha acting karta hai yaar.

Arhaan: Di main teek hoon.

Simi: Ladoo teri uss ladki ke saath khoob jamthi hai.

Naina: bilkul teek kaha Simi tumne. Wo pehla hug unka yaad hai dream sequence. Mujhe to aisa lag raha tha ki dono sach mein gale lage hai.

Simi: Haan. Ladoo bataa chakkar kya hai?

Arhaan: Aisa kuch bhi to nahi. Wo meri sab se achchi dost hai.

Naina: haan haan sab jaante hai hum pehle to dosti se hi shuruvaad hoti hai.

Simi: sahi kaha tumne.

Gr8 goin dear i've read all d 3 chaps n i really like them...i loved ur concept too...jus a small request dear if u could edit ur post n change d name of d girl who plays Pooja's sister in d show...if u can plz cud u put an alternate name as dat name is annoying...onli if u can dear no such force😛😛😛😛😛
