No she is not.. she is a good daughter.
First of all, Navya's family is not as crazy as Anant's family. So if she asked to make a choice, will she leave her parents who are responsible for her existence in this world, have given her a lifetime of love without any expectations, countless sacrifices so that she gets to lead a better life, and a secure, nurturing and caring life for a boy who she has recently met? What an ungrateful and selfish daughter she would be! If she can hurt and leave her loving parents for a boy, what is the guarantee that she won't leave THAT boy for a better love? A few raging hormones do not a love make ...
WORD on everything you wrote LadyM.
Actually I liked the fact that Navya stepped back a bit...and that she told him she can't let him make the decision of choosing between her and his own family because she can't do that either. it just shows that she's not like one of them who loose the sense of family and other relationships once they fall in love with some guy. Ummm family relationships do matter more than anything at the age that they are in right now. They're definitely not in a position to be fully committed to one another right now because D'uh they're just 19 and still kids! This whole "fighting for love" sounds fancy in just fictional tales.
