Newspaper Article states that Ashish is preparing himself to play the role of CGM. He is practicing Tai-chi and horse back riding. He will also star in three more movies. Way to go Ashish for working so hard and challenging yourself. I can't wait to see you as CGM.

The new 'Chandragupta'

'Gunahon Ka Devta' came to an end last week but the hero Ashish Sharma is all set to play a king. He will be essaying the older Chandragupta in the historical by the same name aired on Imagine TV. The actor is busy working out to suit the character. He has started training in Tai-chi and Kalaripayattu besides taking to horse-riding. He is also following a rigorous work-out too. Ashish says, "I am also meeting up with Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who made the tele serialChanakyaand Manoj Joshi, who acted as Chanakya in a play, to get a perspective. But the difference is that Dr Dwivedi's serial was from the point of view of Chanakya, while ours will be from Chandragupta's point of view as it is his journey."
Besides 'Chandragupta Maurya', Ashish has signed up three films, 'Picture Abhi Baki Hai Dost', 'I Am Captain' and 'Ethopia' for which he will start shooting later this year.
