Today, made the blunder of visiting this forum first, read the posts..and felt that the episode must be really nonsensical for soo many ppl to be sooo negative...but when i later saw it...i laffed a lot...(may be i m not clued in to the psyche of other viewers here.) but honestly...i njoyed it...

My guess is for most of us...any episode where there is no Maaneet romance or passion...is mediocre...it has to be Maaneet and Maaneet all the way...but even romance has to have a reason, like comedy even passion is situational...and honestly mindless romance without a story line ...😕

Lately the show has deviated..agreed...its quite different from where it started off...but like any other show..as the years go by...there will be permutations n combinations...i feel it is a requirement...there have to be different shades to a saga..different angles to a story...more characters...more emotions...but it seems that most of us are hell bent that there should be only two characters most of the days of the week...romancing...we do not want to listen to reason that if a show has to last...it has to develop different tracks...they will never be as popular as the Maaneet...but ...there is no option...

And the way some forum members are bashing Geet...m speechless...and more so coz most of us are women...and still are unable to understand another female character..so Geet is miffed with Maan...and if ur hubby buys ur masi's house and doesn't tell you...just makes a grand entry..to rub it in...u will applaud him...support him???😃

He decides to change the circumstances of a whole family...change their temperaments...creates ripples and tensions...makes your family members sweat and fume...and creates unfortunate friction and hostilites...ofcourse you as his wife will not be irritated or annoyed...u will romance him???😆 and think...wow what a man..what a hero...he is here to redeem and save my family...thank u hubby dearest ..( and he is doing it all single handedly without even listening to what i think or feel or have to say...)...

Just think for once like a woman...and not like a Maan fan...any wife ( if she has a backbone ) will definitely have a lot to say...in this case...Geet is not denying that she loves him..cares for him..and wants her family members to respect Maan for the man he is...she just does not want any more unpleasant situations arising in her family...and that in my eyes is no crime...

seriously..lately it has become a trend...whatever Geet does is wrong and whatever Maan does is right ..( not taking sides...and never will...for me Maaneet are one..heart and heartbeat...life and soul )...indeed Geet...hui sabse parayi...!!

i have to admit that i did a lot of fastforwarding today...but i didn't fastforward the lucky preeto part...that was a treat for me...and i liked all the parts where maaneet were together (ofcourse)...highlight for me was when geet "tells" maan not cross the rope...just by pointing the knife at him...would love to see the story unfold...but as of now it is just not gripping enough...but i won't stop watching..i just can't...

Thanks for this post eveline. Really appreciate it. 😊..A lot of people have not understood that this is not the phase in their life where they will always be lovey dovey..that phase has passed. Honestly it would become so mundane if all we saw was them romancing...where would the story be?? And I don't know why Geet is getting bashed. She is not pushing him away but she is upset because he never lets her do anything on her own. He never asks her before doing anything. I mean wouldn't you get mad if your hubby did that. Its her family she knows them better then him. He cant always do everything before and not consult her. She has concern for him and doesn't want the family to hate him even more...it makes sense why her behavior is like this...

OMG! Can I say how much I love your post? I've been trying so hard to somehow express my feelings regarding the show and the character Geet but have been unable to do so. You on the other hand expressed exactly what has been going on in my mind.

Hey sweets.. completely agree with your post.. But i think most of the bashing is not b'coz we don't understand her , or think that Maan is entirely right.. No.

Infact , I couldnt understand what Maan was thinking when he thundered into the house , buying it and then arriving in all arrogance expecting a warm welcome!

Geet is absolutely right in getting frustrated about what he means to do, and how since all his attitude and plans so far have simply antagonized her family further.

So yes, Geets restlessness , and annoyance is more than expected.

Its her mannerism thats getting to me. I m tired of her twirling in a huff with a 'chhaddo'... or poking/shoving him away, or whacking his arm every single time they meet..

The CVs are pushing it.. She is not shown with any other expression except irritation.. with all this going on- there should be desperation when alone for things to be better so they can be together(which they make do with one line)... Some frustration where she demands an explanation from Maan and patiently listens to him at least once..

sometimes simply a yearning,.. or at least once she would feel affectionate looking at the bull headed -hopeless romantic she has for a husband who did god knows what to get her back...

All her expressions always have a comic vein, and simply impatient annoyance.

That is what I am fed up of. Otherwise, I have absolutely no clue what kind of reverse psychology Maan is working on😕 cuz simply speaking hes only provoking people more.

Just one lil teeny complaint with Geet- she has in fact gotten a bit conservative since her arrival, like Maan pointed out today. Maans concern for Lucky-Preeto - I like.. and Geets linear thinkign in that aspect-I don't.

🤗..oh Mona..so nice to see u and i m just happy that we share the same feelings on this...i had a lot more to say but...then took pity on the few readers that dare to open my posts..😆

And yes there is plenty that goes on in our hearts and minds...but even i find it soo difficult to express myself..somehow i just muddle it out...wish i could write what i really feel!!

glad u are not planning to quit...😆so many other members are threatening today to quit...seems they all are in a militant mood like Geet..( btw loved her actions n expressions with the knife...wow..)..and i know the track is not that gripping...but its not that bad either...i feel the other actors are doing a really good job..be it lucky or mamaji..or pammi or preeto..or lacchi...good perfomances from all sides...but then telly shows cannot be gripping all the time...i feel they are like waves...receding ...coming forward...its own ebbs and tides..high tides being Maaneet...the rest..low tides😉
