Sanjay Dutt tightens his purse strings?

"Sanjay won't be spending like he used to in his past. He still wants the best of everything but he won't indulge in extravagances anymore. He's been telling this to his pals. May be he wants to set an example for his kids," says a source close to the star.

The actor has been spending a lot of quality time with his twins and has apparently been telling everybody how his kids have bought back memories of the time when he used to play a dad to his daughter Trishala who now stays in the US.

"Sanjay has been shooting in the city and immediately after the shoot wraps up, he rushes to his home in Bandra to spend some quality time with his children. He always has lots of things planned with them. He already addreses his daughter as his little princess and his son as his rock star," the source adds.

Dutt, say his pals, always aspired for the best in luxury and never hesitated before spluring on anything that caught his fancy.

"He was also known as one of the most gracious hosts and used to have a party almost every alternate day, either in his house or other venues.

His close friends always swore by his generosity. He would spend for people around him. We knew that if Sanju is there then nobody will have to pull out their purses. He would always foot the bill. These things have changed after he got married. Now we know that he wants to set a good example in front of his kids and we are happy for him," says another friend of the actor.
