At the end he will be the one losing...either his wife or his mother...he loses either ways...

Just the beginning Krishna...he is going to be doing a lot of that in coming weeks. For the first time in his life rather than assume and presume he is going to have to step back and become a spectator of events and start firing those brain cells and ask a lot of painful questions which will give him plenty of painful answers. Like it or not he has to make some tough choices and that is going to take a lot of growing up and maturity to move forward in life.
