Gone are the days when men used to dominate television industry. Times have changed and so have the role of females and their demands in the industry. Today the dramas are more female centric than ever before, the stories and the concepts are more related to and for women. And of course , the industry needs women that can stay in audiences' heart forever who can leave a strong impression in mind of the audience, for her to come back when ever she desires.
For instance there is Shilpa Anand ' the much beloved Dr .Riddhima for the audience. Even though she was there for less than a year, the show was never the same after her absence. Her presence (and absence for that matter) changed the story of the show. The show was never the same after she left it, the TRPs went down, the demands went up and the argument of getting her back started happening even after we got 2 more Riddhima's.. At one point all the main leads were out of the show and instead new comers were introduced with new season. However that attempt was not successful and the old leads were called in and this time Shilpa Anand came back ' not as Ridhhima ' but she was back nonetheless. This clearly shows the importance of her and how much the audience adored her. Even today people demand her to come back in Dil Mil Gaye season 2 as they would love to see her back. The lady certainly has some charms as she is still missed and remembered as Dr. Ridhimaa. None of the other actress who played her part could leave that kind of a impact on the audience as she did. She had great fan followishe and even today she is remembered as the lovely Dr. Ridhhima.
