My take on Tumhari Disha - 9th June '05

Well let me tell u all something..it rained badly in my place yesterday. So the expected happened which is the power cut but yes I managed to see two scenes in the middle of the episode which made me understand what could have happened.

As promised earlier this take is dedicated to the character Inder for being a helping hand in stopping Dish's marriage (gulabo jo vaada kiya use nibha rahi hoon).

I forgot to mention in my yesterday's take that there was a scene on 8th june epsiode where DIsh is all sad and through hand symbols azuba indicates that he will take care of everything as he is there. I was actually wondering what he cud possibly do. And yes Azuba indeed took care of the happenings.

One Scene that I saw yesterday was the scene wherein ved is asking Dish as to why she did this and also Sum's repentance scene. Dish replies back to Ved that she loves DK only. Poor Ved is left sad. he comes back to hear the taunts of ppl in the mandap that his bride has run away. Though I felt happy that Dish ran away from the mandap before the marriage could have happened but still the way she did it was wrong. Ved was ready to take back the baarat but still dumb Dish ran away in this manner. The way Ved looks at everyone am not sure abt his character. More on that in the prediction posting. Coming back to Dk and Pori I guess technically they are married in front of everyone (Pori did force DK to apply sindoor..so pheras over, sindoor pradan over. Did not see any mangal sutra scene. Am not sure if that is also needed to consider the marriage as accomplished. Someone needs to throw some light on that).

Sum does not want to live anymore and poor dk babu says that already he is without his wife he does not want to be left alone without his mum as well..poor chap !!! (dk babu ur wife did the drama by running away. be happy !) . btw Dish had promised that she will fall on Sum's feet and tell her the truth even if the marriage is over. Let me hope that they don't show another of those communication gaps.

It takes two black outs to make Dish think that she loves DK and cannot live without him. The 1st black out was duing the havan when she applied Sindoor as against DK. the 2nd one was yesterday , she litereally drab the chance tat came her way and she ran away from the mandap to be with dk. Ved was once again cheated by someone. I don't blame him if ends up being cynical. Let me just remind u all !! Ved is still the owner of Kanaka with PoA in his name.

Acting wise It was Ved all over. His expressions were really good. I really felt sorry for him. Also Sum acted the typical mom (i've see those expressions umpteen no of times).

SCENES OF THE WEEK

Drama Scene/turning point - The way the shaadis were stopped
Can do without - that dumb item song
Emotional Scene - When Pori give Bidaai to Ved before the marriage
Funny Scene - When Rano realizes that DIsh is unhappy but wrongly concludes that its because she sad at leaving aai and bhonsle house
Surprise - Azuba helping Dish to run away, Sanya stopping DK's marriage
Romance - starring session of DK and Dish (both of them reiterate that they just cannot forget each other and move on).
Next twist - Dish will now assume that DK is now married.
Cute Scene - When Ved offers to take back his baarat
Volte Face- The way Suhas covers up that DIsh is crying as she is moving away from family and dumb Ved trusts that
Suave - DK in sherwani minus the pagdi

FINALLY

Gulabo has fulfilled her promise. Check out her avatar. Also sakina now has Azuba as her avatar while bamby (hold ur breath) has Sanya as her avatar (i guess all for 1 day). One round of applause for Sree for reading b/w the lines of mid-day article and coming to the conclusion that DIsh's marriage will not happen. Thanks to mink and memsaab as well for keeping the optimism alive. Thanks for the previews and updates by Sree, Bell and Vidya. and Finally a big thanks to Guhas for not showing the institution of marriage as a farce. and also hats off to them for keeping us guessing till the end of the week and with this I end my long list. btw lalit has posted a new info that TD will now come mon-fri in India. PS: Am giving a miss to my questions today as there is already a similiar thread started by mods and viewbies. Please do answer them to let all of us know ur views here. Let me try and catch up with the repeat on sun to see if I can add anything to this take. Sorry if I have not done complete justice to this episode.

Swathi, we had been waiting for this episode for the longest time and your take too 😉 Thanks yaar for an awesome take of this much awaited episode! I guess our insanity paid off as we were still thinking that the weddings wouldn't take place. I cannot wait to watch this episode esp. Disha running from the mandap.. kya scene hoga. It reminds me of Runaway Bride, the movie 😆

I know it's sad for Ved but he should've seen this coming. Poor guy...only if he wasn't blinded by love. Now he's hurt yet again but I don't think he's going to do anything rash. But then again.. you never know!

If Disha makes the U-turn, I would like to ask her whatever happened to the "I'll beg Sumi even if the marriage has taken place" stuff. This won't require any brain surgery for her to see why would Pori, the bride, will be standing outside with others inside if the marriage has already taken place. BTW Swathi, sindoor or no sindoor this wedding is not legal cuz DK's still married to Disha! So doesn't matter what Pori says... I hope..

I actually liked Disha's running away part! She she is a paragon of virtues but a human so she commited a mistake got down fr the Devi ma pedestal! Good, showed the human confusion & vulnerablity!! A person so rational so logical can also succummb, kyoki D ko loveria hua hai!😆 😆Message to the girls.....never do like this, think abt the parents & would be dulha!😉

Hindu wedding is considered complete with the 7th pehra it is called saptpadi! So even if sindoor daan is not done according to law it is complete but this wedding will be null & void as Ds r still married, coz they got married according to hindu law/temple!!

Mink, who is also feeling sorry thinking abt Ved's reaction but still loved d's action!! lol D u rock, har bandhan tor kar go to your fluppy puppy forget abt stress puppy!!😆

Thanks to much Swathi for a fabulous take of a very interesting and surprising episode. Guhas took me by surprise and on top full credit to them for making us believe weddings will take place these past few weeks were very depressing and this week was taking its toll on me anyway.👏👏👏

Well all in all Disha running away was very filmi and infact very nice as Disha came out of her Tyaag ki moorti phase. Azoba is the star in this ep as he really showed hum much he cares for Disha's happiness and could see she wasn't happy, Inder great as he helped save the say too but i am not too sure about his motive.

Vedant i do feel sorry for him to have your dulhan go missing from mandap is a big thing and he loves Disha but if he does than he should know she only loves DK and her happiness lies with him but i can see shades of grey here as Vedant might want to switch sides here and be with Gargi. But i do feel sorry for him as he has been betrayed by a woman again but again it think he should have known Disha was not happy but i guess love makes u blind.

Well Disha is a dumbo if she thinks Pori is telling the truth as she knows her best but i guess this is how shooting promo will come into place inder doing the kidnapping act and our princess charming saving the day.😉

Well enough from me thanks Swathi again and thanks to all 3 central characters in stopping both marriages. Have a great weekend as for a change Guhas have made my weekend happy!!👏👏👏

Like I said i was so glad to be wrong.The first thing I did when I woke up was to read the updates.It was very exciting.

yip i'm sure we r all ecstatic😊 about the shaadia being stopped but u cannot help but feel really sorry for ved😭...........afterall he kept asking dish time & time whether she is marrying him of her own free will..........agreed she should've told him the truth & not allowed herself to be persuaded by suhas...........mink u r right, girls don't ever do this.........do think about the consequences that follow ur actions as this involves a lot of people & their emotions..........its as simple as yes or no...........no mayb's allowed...........

hence these turn of events may just end up changing veds character in2 a negative 1..........afterall he was cheated twice in luv.........

well done azuba, indy & sania for coming thru for both the D's.........although ea with his own agenda except for azuba who just wants dish to b happy..........👏

i suppose i should also give a 👍🏼 to the guhas as they have portrayed marriage to b a sacred bond & not allowed the lead characters to marry off like 3-4 times...........its 1 of very few serials that has actually done this..........

it sounds like there were a few comical scenes with pori falling while taking the pheras & forcing dk to put the sindoor in her maang.........would really like to see this for myself........sure it makes for some good laughter😆...........wonder what she would do when she realises that its actually ved who still has the POA.........

well guys here in SA this week we got to watch the episodes surrounding the party where dk meets mittal............some good scenes b/w the 2 D's aswell as loads of sarcasm in all the dialogues........

after meeting with aai, dk tells dish that she should not think that any of his anger is aimed at her............& she should not allow the likes of gargi & pori to take advantage of her goodness.........God has given her the will & power to win & she should give gargi & pori a taste of their own medicine..........this scene was really good as dk encourages dish to fight for what she believes is right............now if only he would take his own advice...........& hence he gives her the mobile & ofcourse his million$ smile..........very cute😊........oh & not 4getting dish feeding dk the neem paste for the new yr..........cute scene aswell............real husband/wifely.........

at the party i really hoped dk would've got some1 else to deal with sania/pori & handled the business deal himself........afterall the old dk would've never needed dish's help to close the business deal.........saying that he did throw some wicked insults at both sania & pori..........really enjoyed what he said, not 4getting his expressions while saying it.........

gargi & pori were at it as usual with dish now creating the problems b/w them.........was really good to watch them getting some of their own back although from the updates it seems like this won't go on very long..........pity, cos its good to watch a 2 sided contest as opposed to a 1 sided one.........

Never thought that Disha would run from the mandap. It's really not like her. But I don't care, the weddings have been stopped and that's all I care about. Also even if Disha makes a U-turn I don't think she'll be going anywhere near the Bhosale residence. Suhas will never forgive her for this.
