She turned the heads of many important personalities at the Cannes Film Festival. Only four years old in the industry, Sonam Kapoor was the most photographed Bollywood celebrity through her representation of India Cinema at Cannes this year.

The star tells us how she made her Papa Anil Kapoor proud, had the best time of her life, away from home, and she enjoyed the company of her sister, Rhea who was also her stylist at the event. She stated, 'I ate all the food I wasn't suppose to eat, and I had a whale of a time'.

But it wasn't all fun and games for this star, as she was busier than ever with photo- shoots, attending parties and giving interviews.

According to Sonam, everything went perfectly. However, on her return back to Mumbai; the star noticed that the Indian Media weren't too chuffed about her dresses. Sonam expressed, that instead the Indian media being proud of so many Bollywood personalities invited to such an international festival, they had to find something to criticize about.

Nevertheless, the star doesn't regret anything apart from the fact she wasn't able to watch any of the films in the festival, especially Woody Allen's, Midnight in Paris, as she had back-to-back engagements that kept her on her toes. The star also attended a dinner hosted by filmmaker Peter Lindbergh wearing a saree designed by fashion designer, Masaba. However, her personal highlight was attending a private dinner by designer Roberto Cavalli where only 30 people were invited.
