He is always shown in Kesar's flashback scene with Dushyant and Gulaal. How does he know that Dushyant killed Gulaal's husband and what is his problem against the whole family.

If anybody knows the date that episode was aired please can you let me know.

Also is he a transvesite or a hermaphrodite?

Firstly Durgesh organized the accident in which Motabha and the rest of the family got hurt. He says that he knows that Dushyanth killed Vasanth because the driver of the vehicle (who was in cahoots with Durgesh) saw Dushyanth do the act. He produces the driver and his eyewitness testimony at the encounter (which Kesar constantly has flashbacks about). The grown up Kesar glimpses the driver again on his return when performing a Shiv puja and tries to chase him down but gets beaten up by Durgesh's other goons.

It is not clear if Durgesh is a transvestite or a true hermaphrodite, but he finally, under duress, admits and identifies himself as transgender during the failed betrothal to Gulaal.
