Gulaal didnt take him to the police coz Vasant wanted his whole family to stay together and so on, and also it would have killed the family knowing what D did, and so on and at that time Motabha especially was recovering from his months of being a coma etc

It took ages for Gulaal to be civil with D (even after not reporting him to the police), and also D repents everyday for what he did and so on, and has become an betterish person and how he has been for the last 10 yrs and so on and he is in his own guilty path of what he did as we see him sometimes living his alone life and so on - thats his punishment for himself

at first she didnt take him to police as family was going through rough times panba and motaba were hospitalised so she cant take risk of telling her in laws that vasant brother has killed vasant to claim gulaal it might be other shock for her family ...then it was vasant dream to bind the family and afterwards she realized that dushyant is improving he supported his village his family and took all the responsiblity that vasant use to take...he took care of her in laws and never thought about himself in these 10 years...it was the kind of punishment gulaal has given to D ...she has changed him and made him responsible for her family she made him return whatever he has taken from her family...a devotee son a responsible person for his village a loving and caring brother...ofcourse he cant return her husband but still D improved...thats y she is friendly with D...she believes hate the sin not the sinner...!

In my opinion it's ridiculous that she never revealed him to the family. Is it better for them to later find out they've been living w/ a killer amongst them?? Theyll feel hate and anger toward gulaal for deceiving them. Protecting the family from the truth will only hurt everyone in the end... It wasn't her responsibility to reform dushyant. And so what if vasant wanted to keep the family together. I'm sure when he wished for this, he didn't foresee being murdered by a family member! Sorry, just my thoughts.

i agree, ok fine challo Gulaal being civil is still a lil justifiable, but her being soo nice and friendly to her own husband's killer is really ridiculous!
