Nagpur MMS: Nagpur School Girl MMS Scandal

Police has arrested a college student for blackmailing a Class XI student for money after making her obscene MMS. The boy threatened to make the MMS public and allegedly took cash and jewellery worth Rs 4.60 lakh from the girl.

Sanjay Chakrawarti, 22, is a resident of Bhaurao Surve Nagar and a student of Shri Datta Meghe Polytechnic College. He started blackmailing the 18-year-old girl, a resident of Gedam Lay-Out, from November 2010 till April 2011, during which the girl stole cash and gold jewelleries from her house and handed them over to the accused.

How they met?

Few months ago, the victim had gone to Futala Chaowpati along with her other female friends during which one of her friend had called her boy friend. The boy was accompanied with the accused, Sanjay. The victim was introduced to Sanjay and they exchanged their mobile numbers and started seeing each other. The victim then fell in love with the accused.

Valuables she stole from her house

Sanjay was threatening and blackmailing the victim over phone and asked her to give him cash and valuables. The girl stole expensive gold chain, eight finger rings, bangles, ear rings, mangal sutra, necklace and Rs 1.20 lakh from her home. The girl stole the ATM card of one of the family members and withdrew money on different days and handed it over to the accused.

How the matter came to light?

The victim's mother gave her money to pay for her tuitions and school fees but she did not deposit the money and gave it to Sanjay. The school informed the girl's parents that they have not received the fees. When her mother then asked the tuition teacher she came to know that she had not paid the tuition fees. The victim narrated the whole story to her parents when they asked her strictly about her not paying the fees.

The victim's parents lodged an FIR with Pratap Nagar Police Station on Saturday afternoon. Considering it as a serious matter, the police nabbed the accused in a quick action. The police is suspecting that the accused might have trapped several other girls too. However, police is investigating the matter.

MMS circulated

If reports are to be believed, the accused has circulated the MMS of the victim among few of the students. In a well-planned manner, Sanjay spent money on the victim and kept on collecting her obscene pictures and MMS and later showed his true colours.
