Part 2

The whole evening went with Maan looking for his mystery girl but she could be seen nowhere. The fact that she had disappeared into thin air made Maan wondered whether she had been a figment of his imagination. He was really disappointed in not able to find her again. Soon enough it was time for cake cutting and he had not even realized it in his quest to find his angel. Rishab's family encircled around the table where the cake was placed. Other guests were clapping their hands and raising a toast to the couple. Rishab's eyes caught the form of Maan across the crowd, and signaled him to get nearer as he too could be considered as one of his family members. Rishab and Renuka was about to cut the cake when midway Rishab suddenly asked for someone called Geet. Maan barely registered the name as he was still looking around to catch a glimpse of his girl.

Rishab: Where is Geet?

Karan: Geet!!!! Uh''''..I don't know. She was just here a moment ago. Karan replied looking around.

Renuka: Go and look for her.

Karan: Yes chachi.

There was suddenly a disturbance in the party where almost everyone scattered around looking for that someone.

Karan: Have you seen in the garden- he asked the manservant.

Manservant: Yes sir, madam is not there.

Karan: Ok. I'll check on the terrace.

Karan climbed the stairs leading to the terrace and returned after a few minutes with a girl wearing white. Maan took in the sight and realized that it was his angel. He realized that she was more beautiful, now that he has seen properly and her name was even beautiful. It sounded like melody to his ears. "Geet". Geet came and stood beside Rishab who gave her a side hug.

Rishab: Where were you sweetheart? We were just looking for you.

Geet: I was just on the terrace. I was feeling a bit suffocated here, so went to get some fresh air.

Rishab: It's ok. Let's cut the cake now.

Rishab together with wife, they cut the cake and fed each other lovingly. The guests clapped their hands with enthusiasm seeing that love between them was still the same as it was 35 years ago. He then took a piece of cake and fed Geet.

Geet: Happy anniversary papa.

Rishab: Thanks honey

Hi guys i know this is a bit short and having updated after such a long time, you all must have expected a long update but i can only do this bit at the moment. i promise to update two more parts this weekend and this time much longer.
