I am not Gujrat but I ahve lots of Gujrati friends.I have seen them live in a joint family ,if not that , then they live in the same building on different floors ,so basically the consept of living as a joint family is more pronounced in that community. That's my observation.

well ya!! ur right.. gujarati families basically have joint family system!! im not gujrati but have lots of gujrati friends!! They are like extended families and live beside each other!! if not in the same house, than in the same building or same community!! But they are like any other desi family, cuz most of desi families prefer joint system!!

I think Baa, Bahoo aur Baby is the closest to gujarati traditions. I don't watch Kyonki so I don't know about it and TKTG has just started so let's see how they portray gujju family.

Well in TKTG ...the "main" man of the house, it too sexist...so I dun think it relates to ALL guju families, well at least it doesn't relate to my family.

well if u r talking about being closer to the gujju families then like everyone else said ba bahu and baby is more closer and if u r talkign about fights that might take place between a saas and bahu in any family then kyunki is more related but seriously i dont think that any gujju family would have their family members married more then 2 times. i mean the way ekta has portraited gujju family in kyunki is totally not true.

this show is also close to the joint family and the family having a person like manshukh in it but now a days people like mansukh are realizing that there is not difference between a girl and a boy.

but all in all BBB is more closer to gujju family then any other show and to tell you the truth i think people who watch Kyunki should tell ekta to stop making such idiotic twist in the story its really disgusting to see the characters and fights she shows in Kyunki.
