Tara's Love

The question is simple folks. Did Tara really ever love Shravan? All indications for me are that she did not. Once Saachi was in the picture, she acted like it was a challenge that she had to win. During the honeymoon track - she was an insecure mess but still kept saying 'I love you Shravan' - it even sounded fake. How do you say i love you one second and the next you say choose between me and your wife. Excuse me, but hasn't this guy been telling you you are the one for him? What is wrong with you, turniphead? She honestly didn't love him, only the challenge of keeping something she had no right to kept her in this cat and mouse game with Saachi.

Tara never loved Shravan. She was a very selfish & insecure person - she was jealous that Shravan got a beautiful wife like Saachi & Tara could never become like Saachi.

Confused creature who goes from 'I can't marry for another year (?) to focus on my education' to 'want to marry you ASAP' in a really short span. Totally flighty, shallow and insecure. It was a game for her to get something that did not belong to her.

Tara 'loved' Shravan like a socialite loves her Chihuahua. She did not respect him, trust him or even treat him like a human being with thoughts and feelings. All she cared about was possessing him, like a pet, as a way to stroke her own ego. If she really even held a modicum of real love for him, she would not have asked him to leave and abandon his family, the one he clearly adored, to be with her.

I am so glad we are all in agreement that what Tara loved was to keep Shravan around to stroke her ego, not Shravan. Now, what do you think what would have happened if Tara never showed up in Mumbai??

Oh wow!! some scenarios that come to my mind...

Shravan would have kept pining for Tara.

Sanchi may not have had the incentive or motivation to even try Kash's formula. these formulas helped to bring out some of Shravan's inner feelings for Sanchi to surface even if both did not recognize it right away.

Sanchi probably would have just accepted the 'relationship' the way it was and just wait for the 6 month period to end hoping Shravan will have a change of heart/mind by the end of it.

Doubt Shravan would like to be friends with Sanchi and both would open up to each other

we would not have hated the SETB so much.

OMG - Shravan would have lived in his lala land, gone through their divorce and realized what he lost only after sanchi left him. god knows what he would have done about that.

we may not met Pappu which later led to the gay track (another favorite track of a number of us)

Most of all we would have been able to see HM track which is mostly everybody's favorite track. 😉
