There is a strong indication that Ashutosh Gowarikar who is down after Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey but certainly not out will sign Kareena Kapoor for his next film.

Our source says, "Everything else about the film is under wraps. However, Ashu will shortly meet Kareena for a script narration." Ashu has worked wonders for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Jodhaa Akbar and it will be interesting to have him team up with Bebo.

Incidentally, Ash and Bebo seem to have traded their Maharashtrian filmmakers. Madhur Bhandarkar is now working with Ash on Heroine; and Ashu may take his film on the floors with Kareena.
