Unlike her role in the show where she played a tomboy, Sreejita will be seen in a hep and stylish look in the film. We catch up with the pretty actress as she speaks about the film and her expectations from it as well as discusses her last TV show Miley Jab Hum Tum. | |||

Tell us about your role in Luv Ka The End? I play Sonia an airheaded girl with loads of attitude. She is the kind of girl who knows the price of Bobbi Brown and MAC makeup kits but is completely clueless when asked about the prime minister of India. I am best friends with Rhea (Shraddha Kapoor). I am not allowed to reveal anything more about my role. |
How was it shooting with co-stars of the film? It was great and we never felt like we were shooting. We were a bunch of young actors, so everyday was like a party. Even Bumpy, the director is young and friendly so the shoot was super fun. Were there any memorable incident on the sets that you can recall? There is one gesture by Shraddha Kapoor that I can never forget. She had forgotten to get to bring her contact lens solution to the sets and asked me for help. I gave her my solution and forgot about the incident. The next day, I was surprised after Shraddha presented me with a gift as a thank you gesture. It was so unexpected but memorable. | |||

The song Freak Out has been shot in an interesting manner, can you tell us about it? Yes, it is for the first time that a Bollywood song has been shot using stop motion technique. It was exciting when the team explained that breaking down the frames to make the picturisation interesting. However, it was very tiring as we had to change our T-shirts every few seconds and we also had to remember our body posture in the last frame, for continuity purposes. |
How similar or different is Sonia from Ash of Miley Jab Hum Tum? Sonia is completely different from Ash. Ash was a tomboy who was arrogant bossy and edgy. Sonia is girly and balanced. She tries to avoid getting into fights, unlike Ash. |
What do you miss about Miley Jab Hum Tum ? I miss everything about the show. I had to leave the show when it was nearing its end because I had bagged Luv Ka The End but I still miss the whole team. However, I have no regrets as I made a new group of friends while shooting for Luv Ka The End and we were treated excellently by the Yashraj Films team. |
Are you open to TV serials or do you want to concentrate on films? As an actor, I am open to all mediums of entertainment including theatre. However, I do have high expectations from this film and I am hoping to make a mark in Bollywood. |
Which are your favourite college/ youth oriented films? I like Main Hoon Na and FALTU but my all time favourite film is Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. It is the best romantic college based film that I have seen till date. |
