Laachi and Radha search Meera's room, and her photo album falls out, and as Meera enters with her bandaged head, cribbs, and says she does not deserve their trust. Laachi still suspects her, but our Radha, with her cranky voice, and tearful apology, pleads with her to stay, and Rani feels she has won. Laachi walks off, and then Rani's henchman, comes to warn her that Chaudry wants her to dance for the function in his house, but she wants him to go away. Radha finds them, and the henchman runs away, when Radha's attention is diverted.
Next Laxmi finds Meera (without her bandage) aka Rani with the same man, as he is talking to him, but by the time the conversation is over, he goes away, and Laxmi suspects her and warns her. Later, Sarju and Radha see something fallen, and they go to see what has happened, and all start running after the intruder, and all suspect Meera.

This serial has a potential, and has been good in the past. I hope it will again see better days. As Sarju and family have landed in the haveli, lot of parasites are trying to latch on to their side, and the first one are their Uncle Heeraman's wife, son and his wife. Now they have Vishnoo's girl friend Rani added to the gang.
Rani has an outside henchman, who brings her news, and the family members take him to be a thief. Radha has seen his face, but apparently not been able to find out who he is. (Radha's character needs a re-vamp. She is made to cranky and wishy - washy. She was not like this in Mumbai, in Kamya's house, and why this change, unless this is a new Director?) Laachi has been suspicious and does not trust the new comer. Rani had taken a lakh of rupees for a dance performance in Chaudry's house for the engagement ceremony, and now she has agreed, but has yet to decide how she will get out of the house.
A lady comes with an invitation to the family from the Chaudry family and they are all ready to go, and Ramdei has bought expensive gifts of gold and jewelry to measure up to her high position in their local society. Meera aka Rani, feigns ill health, and stays back, and Vishnoo gets an idea, to remain at home to look after her. Phoolmani his wife pounces on him, and forces him to come with them to the Engagement.
At the engagement party, the host makes the three parasites, Laxmi and family to sit at the back, and they reluctantly go and sit at the rear. The dance performance starts, and Rani decks her self, and sees Sarju and family in t he mirror, and is dumb struck. Radha sees, the henchman, who came to their house, at the party, and she is frozen into a marble statue. More to come.

At the Chaudry's haveli, Rani is getting ready for the dance, and her henchman is going round warning her, He himself is being hunted by Sarju and Radha, and Vishnoo is after Rani. There is a merry go round as the older people are coolly waiting for the show to begin.
Laachi gets a delayed reaction, as she thinks the dancer looks like Meera, and she tells her husband to accompany her home. They reach home and Laachi runs to find Meera. As soon as the dance is over, henchman and Rani go running to the house, and she climbs the wall and enters her room. In the Victorian Mansion, which looks like Queen Victoria's palace, purchased by Sarju in the 21st century for only twenty lakhs of rupees, a bargain price for the bargain villagers. As expected, the resolution of the plot is delayed, and will be played out over the next few weeks.

The episode, starts with Laachi running to see Meera, who has come in through the window, and covered herself with a blanket, and pretends to be fast asleep. The rest follow her into the room, and question Laachi, why is she suspecting Meera, who has taken medication and is asleep. Funny part is the crooks only are able to recongnize this new crook, and all the others are gullible, and simpletons, except for Laachi, who has had to go through a tough life, to survive in the midst of these foolish people.
Vishnoo, sees the anklet in Meera's feet, and recongizes that it was Rani herself, who was dancing, and knows Laachi has hit the right spot, but her people are below average in their ability to gauge people. Phoolmani also suspects Meera, and also does not know why her husband is showing so much concern for her.
Outside, Ramdei, is counting the stacks of notes, and has spread bundles in front of her, and in come the two crooks, Laxmi and Phoolmani, and are flattering Ramdei, who tells them that she plans to buy jewelry, and Laxmi wiggles out a promise from her to make some jewelry for her daughter in law as well, and reluctiantly the Victoria Madam, nods and then comes the third crook, Meera, pretending to ask for something, and eyes the stacks of notes, and Laxmi feels insecure, and orders her out of the place, which she does with a promise to show her the place.
As Sarju is cleaning his bike, Rani comes to him, suggesting that she does it, and Sarju does not agree, and as they go to sleep, Radha tells her husband that the mother is wanting to buy more jewelry, and Sarju angrily tells her not to interfere.

Laxmi and Phoolmani are hovering round Ramdei, to entrap her into spending her money on them, and the Pandit arrives, who gets a sour reception, by the interference of Laxmi, and abetting of Phoolmani. Radha watches them from the first cfloor of the palatial residence. Her instinct tells her that her mother in law is being taken for a ride by these leeches. When she tries to tell Sarju, with a fearful, and tremulous voice, abjectily surrendering her self respect and intelligence, and Sarju, who is at his laptop, after a long time, making us wonder, what exactly he may be doing with it, or whether he is playing some video game. But with his self conscious evaluation of his own abiolity to understand the nuances tells his wife, that she imagines these things, and his parents have full right on his money. Was he perhaps checking how much money is left with him, after purchasing the palace for 20 lakhs, a tractor, washing machine, gas stoves, jewelry, a motor bike, and now the swindling of his aunt and cousins, and one more leech, in the shape of Meera aka Rani. It looks he has taken his full crore of damages given to him by Kamya in cash, and has stashed it all in his cup board, with a simple single key, which is now in the hands of his omnipotent mother.
Rani is up to her tricks, and smothers Sarju, the self pitying credulous Macho Man, with her wily flattering, and he is so dumb, that the does not even see a hint of deceit in her. When all are busy preparing for the festive celebrations, she adds some ingredient in the Mehendi, and rushes from the house, as Laachi watches her, and follows her, until a neighbour shouts, "Laachi, where are you going?" and this alerts the crafty Rani, and she stops in her tracks.

Rank (60) slipping in Chaska Meter. Last week's points are only 3. The serial is loosing popularity, as its content is allowed to go sloppy,. If this trend continues, it will slide further. They have a very low opinion of the village people, and portray them as morons. Perhaps the producer misjudges them, and the should give some credit to the villager, who is not as backward, as he was some years back. While he shows the story taking place in the current time, with mobiles and washing machines, he should be also up to date in his portrayal of the people.
