The escaped bullet hits Anokhi. Gomti is in complete shock. Anokhi is rushed to the hospital. Aakashi prays for her speedy recovery. The sisters anxiously await news about her. Mihir taunts Shamaldas and asks him to leave. The doctor tells them that Anokhi's operation has been successful, but she is still not out of danger. Gomti surrenders to the police. Shamaldas promises Gomti that she will be out of the jail, within the hour. Shamaldas tells Aakashi to stay away from his family. He blames her for all the unpleasant events. An argument ensues. Shamaldas insists that Aakashi cannot enter the house till Gomti is in jail.
