US/Canada/UK June 5/6 Update

Hello everyone here is the update for June 5, or June 6, 2005 (repeat telecast)

Recap: Kareena is looking at herself in the mirror and is saying go ahead marry Tushar and lie to your family again, the other Kareena states she cannot do that. Priyanka tells Prem that he has the chance to marry Kareena he should do it. Kareena is having second thoughts about the marriage, and is about to tell Tushar when she spots her mom and Jiya at the temple.

At the temple:

Kareena tells Tushar she will be right back and goes to hide a the room and sees her mom and Jiya coming her way she wonders what she will do now. They come knocking on the door, unaware that on the other side is Kareena, Kareena prays to god that she somehow vanishes from here before the truth comes out. Kareena decides to phone Tushar and is about to tell him that she cannot come as her mom and sister are outside when she realizes she cannot say her real reason, so she disconnects the phone. Her mom and Jiya are still outside, begging the "pandit" to come out, Kareena's phone rings and her ringtone comes on, she quickly disconnects the phone. Jiya and her mom become suspicious but before they can do anything the real pandit arrives and Jiya and her mom leave.

Tushar is eagerly awaiting Kareena's arrival, but realizes she is not coming anytime soon and decides to go get Prem then he will get Kareena.

Prem gets ready for his big day:

Tushar meets Prem and helps Prem get ready for the ceremony, Tushar tells Prem he looks very handsome (indeed he doesJ). Prem says thank you and asks Tushar how does Kareena look as a bride, Tushar says she looks nice. Tushar is about to take Prem to Kareena, when Prem begins to feel guilty. Tushar asks Prem what he is thinking about, Prem does not answer, Tushar tells him to keep his flower veil on as only Kareena should see him, and both men proceed to the ceremony.

Close call!:

Tushar tells Prem to wait here while he goes for Kareena, and Prem mistakenly bumps into Jiya! Because Prem has on his flower veil Jiya does not recognize him, and Prem changes his voice and says he is sorry, that it is his first marriage. Jiya takes a liking to him, and asks Prem where his bride is, he says that someone has gone to bring her. The pandit calls Jiya and her mom and they leave, but not before congratulating Prem again.

Kareena's cry for help:

Kareena is still trying to figure out how to get out of the pandit's room, she is restless and hot, she wonders what to do. Kareena decides to peep outside to see if her mom and Jiya have left, when she peeps outside she still sees them there and runs back in. She decides to call Prem and asks Prem where he is, and begs Prem to come to the temple soon as she is trapped. Tushar has heard the entire conversation!

Prem having second thoughts:

Prem calls Priyanka and tells her that he does not want to get married like this, Priyanka tells him that faith has brought him and Kareena here today that the marriage will definitely happen. Prem prays to God and asks what he should do, as he does not understand anything.

Kareena in tears:

Tushar is knocking on the door, and tells Kareena it is him, she lets him in. Tushar asks her why she locked herself in that she should come out and get fresh air. He asks her if she invited her family she says no, why would she do that. He says that today is such a happy day then why is she so disturbed, Kareena tells Tushar she needs to tell him something, she is about to speak when the pandit arrives and begins knocking on the door, Tushar says that the bride is getting dressed, at first the pandit understands but after Jiya begins her rant, the pandit says that if the people don't come out he will have to call the police. Kareena realizes she has to go out, and puts a veil over her face, both her and Tushar proceed out of the room. Tushar tells her to get the pandit's blessing, and also asks Mrs. Sood to bless Kareena too. As her mom is blessing her, Kareena breaks down into tears and Mrs. Sood becomes suspicious.

Kareena in for a big surprise:

The wedding gets underway, Prem is already at the altar ready for the wedding. Kareena sits down, and begins to tell who she thinks is Tushar that she cannot go through with this..and then realizes that it was Prem she was talking to, she is shocked. She begins scolding Prem and Tushar. Tushar says that he is just returning her first love, as Prem loves her and still wants to accept her. She says that she does not love Prem, but Tushar says that it is Tillu who is most important here. Tushar goes on and on about love until finally he says to Kareena that today she will have to give him an answer to all of his questions. Realizing that there is no way out, Kareena is trapped! Episode ends!
