On 5th April 2010 a show was launched at 9:30 IST which made a place in millions of hearts because of its concept, the actors, the hard work of the whole team from every spot boy to every minor or major actor. The show was set in Hoshiarpur in Punjab where Geet a young 18 year old lived in a very traditional family. She lived her life according to their will and gets married to a guy whom she knows for less than 24 hours. She believed in everything that was shown to her but little did she realise the selfish motives of the groom behind the marriage. He ditched her at the airport helpless leaving the seed of his deed in her stomach. The day she decides to go against her family because she think they are wrong, they are on the verge to murder her. She fought with her own family at the tender age of 18 for her unborn baby. That baby maybe a sign of dishonour for the family and the society but for Geet, the baby was her only life. She stood against the world and her whole family just for the baby. In this journey of struggle only one man stood by her Maan Singh Khurana whether it was knowingly or unknowingly.
This 18-Year Old's story touched Millions acrross and outside India. Several people could relate to Geet's situation. She grew from an innocent and gullable homely girl to a strong 21st century woman. Yes there were some glitches in the story which disappointed several masses of people but the show still has left its mark on everyone..
So Lets Celebrate the completion of 300 episodes of the show on the 27th of April 2011 which has made us happy and sad both. The show which has bonded our whole forum together, for whom we can do Halla Bol Anytime. If the team is wrong we do our Halla Bol against them, if an outsider is wrong about the show we do Halla Bol against them. The show has benefitted all of us in many ways with so many priceless friends and sometimes it may have harmed us especially students who think more about Maan&Geet's next Hawt Scene rather than what the Teacher is talking about in front of them.
