Dev was talking on the phone while Radhika was sneeking into the kitchen.

Dev on the phone : Ha Babuji,... no it won't be a problem at all, I can settle it within a couple of weeks time. Just need to wrap up everything. ... Ha, my interview went fine, actually waiting for the call form the HR. ... I know Babuji, but still it's a tension time,... ha... ha ... dad said he is one of the best Manager in our company and very talented and well experienced, so working under him will be very interesting... Radhika will be fine babuji, you all are here with her ,na, then I don't have to worry about anything... Ha babuji,... ji ... theek hei... Ha, will tell dad,... sure. ...Ha , bye.

He kept the phone down and looked at the sofa and surprised to see the empty space.

Dev talking to self 'kaha gayab hogayi? vo bhi ethni jeldi...!!, you were sitting and watching TV after talking with babuji, then' ... his eyes searched upstairs and thought ' no she won't be going up without telling me , then'??? with a doubt he walked towards the dining and then to the kitchen. His eyes caught her, who was standing near the countertop facing away from him.

"what she is doing alone here?" he talked to self, and walked in with his soft steps. He saw her elbow in a folded posture, and her hand was moving up towards her mouth , but then suddenly she paused ...and turned , to ensure her safety one more time. Dev found something fishy with her action that he cleverly moved from her turn vision.

Making sure her safety , she looked at that red piece in her finger, her mouth waters to the fullest. Slowly lifting it up , she opned her mouth wide, her eyes were smiling the most. As it neared her lips border , she froze as the face of Dev flashed in front of her eyes.

"why did you stop? Go ahead, go ahead"

Radhika gulping that saliva in: vo mei ...automatically her hand moved down and her gaze lowered to look at the floor design, and she stood there like an innocent kid.

Dev coming more closer : tho chup chup ke , ye kar rehe thi thu yeha?

Radhika replied in her soft voice : I felt so thristy and...

Dev: so you prefer to drink pickle when you feel thirsty, that is new to me.

Radhika: Vo mei...

Seeing her innocence and her kiddish caught face,Dev's lips streched with a bright smile: Radhika, if you want that one piece, you can have it, but then that is it for today, ok.

Radhika looked at him unbelievably, as if asking: can I?

Dev raised his brows twice, and his eyes rolled up, giving her the permission.

Radhika with the happiest face, brought her hand up with that pickle piece. She looked at her husband's face again thankfully, and then with so much love she took a small bite out of it, and tasting it down , satisfying every cell of her taste buds, as Dev watched that her jaw and cheek moving in that slow motion, with her closed lids, she slowly gulped it down and looked at Dev again thankfully.

Dev with wondered voice: bas!!!

Radhika just denied with nodding her head and then brought her hand again near to her mouth, and as if eating most delicious sweet in the whole world ,she took another small bite of that piece. Looking at her action, Dev gulped the saliva that filled in his mouth.

Dev: Radhika, I feel like... for eating this smallest piece of mango piece, you may take the whole day and still there may some left over.

Radhika: I love it.

Dev continued his look as she took the last piece: Radhika, now I feel like telling you to eat the whole bottle.

Radhika: can i?

Dev coming to serious tone: don't even think about it.

Radhika took a deep sigh, looking at the achar bottle.

Dev: its not good Radhika, you know we checked on it, it has high sodium, and too spicy and..

Radhika: ha, i know, no need to explain again now, I don't need more, I am done for today.

Dev: good,... now , come , ...let's watch the rest of the movie.

Radhika walked with him to the front hall : what did babuji say?

They went back to sofa

Radhika: Mom maybe coming late , right?

Dev wrapping his arm around her shoulder and bringing her closer and looking at the TV screen: um

Radhika fixed her eyes also on the TV screen. The scenes were switchign from one to another and then it was a restuarant scene..., suddenly Dev smiled from within as he remembered her gesture. He looked at her with his corner eyes and found her eyes glued to the screen. And then bringing her more closer , he thought. If it was our old Radhika, how that situation would have been.

He rewinded self.

Radhika will be taking that small red mango piece in her hand and her lips are parted to put that piece in, and seeing my face ... either she might have gulped it completely, or she might have hide it behind, and look at me with that innocent eyes.

Dev: what is it Radhika?

Radhika: kuch nahi

Dev: nothing, then what are you trying to hide?

Radhika's throat made a nothing sound along with her shoulder shrug and lips movement and eye closing, saying a big NOTHING

Dev: show me, trying to hold her hand ...and she may put that piece in quick or take the whole bottle and ran away from there, and I may be able to catch her once she complete that bottle only.

His smile grew imagining her like that, then looking at her posture he thought , but this Radhika how gracefully she listened to me and even made my mouth watery. Her side profile temped him to smile again.

Radhika jerked as she felt his lips on her cheek unexpectedly ,and looked at him , questioning as if what was that.

Dev shrugged his shoulder and closed his both eyes in fraction of second along with moving his lips, saying NOTHING

Radhika scanned his face one more time and then looked back at the TV screen.

Dev : Radhika did you read the book, that I gave you yesterday.

Radhika concentrating on TV screen: what?

Dev: about the baby care

Radhika in a very normal tone, looking at TV screen: um

Dev: what um, just tell me clearly

Radhika: um

Radhika looked at him and said : are you not watching this movie?

Dev looking back at the screen: its boring

Radhika: that means, for you, the only interesting thing is your little princess now.

Dev: umhum

Radhika : then

Dev with an innocent kiddish face: you too.

Radhika wiht a shy face: aap bhi na.

Dev: Radhika, when I go to U.S. , you need to take care of yourself oK, I will try to be back as soon as I can...

Radhika: you were saying the same thing from the day we discussed about your new plan, right?

Radhika: ha, Don't worry, I will take care , I will read the book that you purchased, in fact you saw me reading it yesterday, right?

Dev: Ha but, that you are it reading very slow. If you have any doubt , then you can call the doctor and ask her any time, I got her number from mom's cell, or you can ask me too, actually with all these , i am doing a research too.

Radhika resting her hand over his thigh: You don't trust me right?

Dev: I do Radhika, but I am like, then with a disappointed face I won't be here wiht you for few days na.

Radhika controlling her smile: um, I know ,... when we talk about the plan and all, you sound very confident, syaing I will do that this way, this that way... but actually when it comes to think of your U.S. trip you are back to square one..

Dev: No Radhika, I just want to make sure, ... you see, you will be sleeping all alone, and what if you need something at night?

Radhika: I will get up and get it for myself

Dev: so only I said, I Ma worried. keep the light on, or I can ask Lechu to be with you. But then after a thought: no, that won't be safe, what if she kick my baby in her sleep .

Radhika: I will be fine, did you see me anytime getting up like that.

Dev: I know, I know, but in that book it says, may be later if you feel the craving for it!, Radhika, when i won't be around you.

Radhika turning herself , adjusting her sitting posture, and facing him, and then wrapping her arms around his chest : Don't worry about me or our angel, I will take care of myself and your little princess, ok, I know I need to be careful.

Dev hugged her back saying: are you sure?

Radhika lifting her head up, looking at his face: don't you trust me any more?

Dev: ha but, with this and time???? what if you feel like eating more pickle ?.

Radhika: No, I won't ,... I promise, even if I feel the craving, I won't take it ok. And she hugged him tight as if affirming her words.

Dev : no Radhika, you can have it if you wish, but just one piece, ok

Radhika: um, ok.

Dev: I don't know how long it may take, maybe just one week or two or maybe three, not more than that, I don't know how I will be able to survive.

Radhika: we will talk everyday.

Dev: are you sure.

Dev: ha, anyway, day time you will be alone here, and it will be night for me , and I won't be having anything specific to do, so let's do one thing , I will come online, and you too come, ok and we can talk for long, then it will be ok. Then that way, you won't be left alone at home, and I can talkt o my princess too.

Radhika: how ever you wish.

Dev: sach

Radhika: um

Dev felt happy adn little naughty too : then if I ask for a kiss, will there be stock?

Radhika's heart skipped few beats, but replied in a very normal tone : that we will see

Dev pulling out her shoulder to see her face: that's not fair.

Radhika looked at his complaining face, and with a shy smile she said: maybe there will be ... and twisted her tongue in , as she stated that, and a tinge of pink color shaded her cheek.

that flickered his heart ,Dev in his lowest possible voice: what if I need one now?..., then...

Radhika lowering her eye lids, gulped lightly

Dev softly : Radhika, I asked you something.

Radhika in her lowest voice: do you need to ask me, when I am sitting so close to you.

Dev smiled listening to her, and he lifted her jaw line , and made her to look into his eyes, he saw her loving eyes, and her blushing cheek, and shivering lips, with a smile he held her tight on her upper back, wheras her fingers weaved with his short hairs.

They brought back to reality as the song started playing on the screen again. Radhika looked at the screen and looked back at Dev's face.

Dev: Kay huva?

Radhika unbelievably : movie is over.

Dev:in a normal tone: ha

Radhika: but what happened at the end?

Dev: at the end, hero ko heroine mil gaya, that's it.

Radhika: see, I was watching it interestingly.

Dev: no Radhika, if that was interesting then you won't be listening to me, so I think my talk was more interesting than that movie, I told you it is boring.

Radhika : aap bhi na

Dev: otherwise you won't be going to eat that pickle piece na

Radhika: but you were talking to babuji at that time.

Radhika: no, no, no need for that now, it's fine.

Radhika: yellow roses!!

Dev: come , let's check, and you need that walk too.

Radhika: um

Dev helped her to get up form the couch and they walked out and Radhika just followed him, and in few minutes he went upto his room and came back holding the camera.

Radhika: not now.

Dev: ha now, smile

Radhika looked at him , as he started focusing on her face.

Dev jerked as he heard the loud teasing laugh

Trying to control on her burst out laugh , Lechu: what are you doing Bro?

Dev getting up quick and acting normal : just helping your bhabhi to adjust the saree, that's all...

Lechu: Oh My God!! When did my Bro learned this? Di, am I dreaming?.

Radhika just smiled

Dev looked at Radhika's face and then hiding his embarrassment: she is my wife, you can change calling her deedi, di or bhabhi as you wish, but whatever it is , you can ignore it, but I want my only wife to look beautiful.

Dev to show her off, looked at Radhika from the front and then adjusted her necklace

Then little loud voice: I told you , this necklace will surely match well with this saree, now you only see. He cornered his eyes on Lechu to make sure she is seeing and listening , and then holding her hsoulder he made Radhika to look intot he mirror.

To give his sis more surprise he lifted his ahnd up to hold her earring, Radhika tried to move his hand away from holding her earring: aap chodiyena ... in a lower tone

comign to the front, Dev held her upper arm with his both arms and making her to stand straight and looking at her from head to toe : um, now you look really beautiful.

Saying that he looked at Lechu once and went out from the room.

Lechu's eyes just followed him the way he went out, and she slowly took her steps near to Radhika..

Radhika: you laughed at him, right? so only he tried to combensate it , that's all.

Radhika just nodded her head in agreement.

Lechu: did he chose this saree?

Radhika smiled shyly.

Lechu sat back on that bed as her body was feeling weak.

Radhika: why did you ask Lechu?

Lechu's unbelievable voice exhaled: did really my Bro did all those? My Bro!! when he become so caring, that also dressing you up like this?

Radhika: actually I only preferrd to wear saree, because daadi told me it will be good for baby. So he just picked one , that's all.

Lechu: I can still hear him shouting at me with my dressing, saying i take too much time to dress up , and here he is helping you out!!!

Radhika: Lechu, I was not getting the pleets well, becasue of this silk material, I asked him to help me out , and he is doing it first time, I preferred to wear it because daadi said like that.

Listening to their talk Suchi came in: dadi said what?

Radhika looking up at Suchi: no mom, that day when we went out to walk around in chandenpur, then dadi told me to wear saree, because she said that will be good for the baby.

Suchi: that is interesting, how?

Radhika: she said, sunlight is good for baby's health

Suchi: ha, that's what we used to do, if we see any signs of jaundice, I mean yellowing of the skin, if it is not that extreme , our first choice is this.

Radhika: Dadi was telling me, the absorbed rays from sulight is good for the baby in womb too.

Suchi after a thought: no wonder , our oldies are intelligent than us, and there was a purpose with each of their action, but the new generation just ignore it by saying there is no meaning behind it, and then later science will come up with new explanation and then we all will admit it and with wonder we say "oh it is good for health". Anyway, are you ready beta.

Radhika nodded her head in agrement ,

Suchi: then , come let's go. then looking at Lechu's posture : esse kya huva? Lechu come, we are getting late.

Lechu walked out silently..

Radhika just nodded her head saying 'nothing'.

They all got into the car. Chander was ready holding onto the steering.

Dev: what time dad will be back mom?

Suchi: he said very late, and not to wait for him

Dev: mom, are you trying to scare Radhika now?

Suchi: I am not scaring, just giving a warning, that's all.

Dev looked at Radhika's face to see her reaction, and saw the smile on her lips and then looked back on to the road.

Chander: so Dev beta, when are you going to hold the steerring.

Dev: soon, I am comfortable with bike, but car, in this busy street, I will get there soon.

Chander: so I think it will be so boring , driving in U.S. roads

Devc: boring!!!

Chander: ha, here at least we can listen to some honking and all and then if lucky enough then to few shouting s too , and then watch for four leggers, and then the pedestrians, the bicycles, tricycles.. we need to be alert all the time,... there ...nothing , right, just drive straight.. there is no fun in that.

Dev smiled: chander bhayya

Suddenly Lechu: Mom, do you know who helped bhabhi to wear saree?

Suchi: what?

Lechu loudly : Bhayya did

Dev felt his mouth went dry and looked at Chander and then turned to look at Lechu, with his glaring warnign look.

Lechu ignoring his eyes , continued : and bhabhi's necklace, her earring, Bro only put everything on for her.

Suchi felt shy that she tried to tuck that in her corner lips, she saw her son's embarrassing face , that also in front of Chander, Chander also was trying to hold his smile, he kept his face as if he is not listening to them at all, and was looking very keenly onto the road.

The color from Dev's face fade away...

Radhika controlled her laugh too.

Dev again loudly: that's all

Lechu: don't lie Bro, I saw you helping bhabhi with her sareee

Dev wiped his nose and mouth quick: ha, vo, then in a soft, calm voice :with the pleets mom, vo... she was struggling to get it well, so I just helped to adjust it, that's all.

Suchi as if ,them to stop: Lechu , that's what all the husband's do.

Lechu: what?

Suchi: Bhabhi may need that help now, and it is his duty to help her out.

Lechu: mom, it's BRO, my Bro. can you believe it. He shouts at me with everything and ...

Suchi to comfort her: Don't worry , when you get maary na, then your husband also will help you like this.

Suchi in a warning tone : Lechu, there is one more year , right? you concentrate on that, ok, when it comes to saadi we will decide and let you know.

Dev: who knows, maybe she already chose some one.

Suddenly Lechu: Bro, don't try to change the subject now, ok. Ok maybe bhabhi need help with saree, but what about earrings then?.

Suchi: Lehcu stop it.

Dev looked at her with a win.

Lechu controlled her talk with a soft lip movements and then went in trance, and suddenly burst out : Did dad help you out like this mom?

did you mentioned that part 100 and 101 was the first and second Radev only parts...
