April 19th.... on this date one year back we were introduced to Maan Singh Khurana. Since then he has become an idol for many. He is the ultimate man, the perfect lover.Girls wish there was a Maan Singh Khurana in their lives...😆.... Men secretly wish they were like him....😛😆
When he was introduced he was arrogant, aggressive & scornful of everything in general...especially women. In this one year we have seen him change from a Dusht Daanav to a Aashiq majnu....😆
Lets trace his journey from the beginning to now...
MSK in Hoshiarpur
When he first bumped into Geet in the mela, the first thing that struck about him was his complete disdain for women........But despite his indifference and his hatred he came to her rescue. This showed that beneath that hard exterior lay a considerate and caring human being. Right through the Hoshiarpur track we witnessed his arrogance, his self-confidence, his holier than thou attitude but there were also glimpses of a much softer, sensitive Maan. A man who was principled & righteous, who never failed to speak up for what is right....👏
MSK in Delhi
During the early Delhi track MSK was still the arrogant, condescending guy we had seen in HP but this time there was a layer of sophistication to his persona. He was the uber cool, chic business tycoon who was ruthless in his business decisions but was respected and almost revered by his staff. There was only one person who got under his skin and that was Geet. He slowly but surely was getting attracted to her. Despite his resolve to stay away from her, he was inadvertently getting closer to her...😳
MSK post dhaba episode
This is when MSK realized he was changing because of Geet. He did not like this change in him so fought tooth & nail to cling on to his earlier self. But he was fighting a losing battle...😳....Geet affected him more than he had ever imagined.
MSK post disco episode
This was the time MSK got rejected. As it happens with every male, he did not take this rejection well...😆....At this point we caught a glimpse of his past. His present demeanor was a result of his past. There were some aspects in his past which had scarred him for life.......The mystery to that lay behind the closed doors of the attic (we are still waiting for those doors to re-open..😆)
MSK post baby revelation
As expected he did not take the news well. He was hurt and felt betrayed. He also could not take the fact that the girl he loved, was with someone else before him. But the moment he found out the entire truth, he realized how wrong he was. His love for Geet knew no bounds after that. He wholeheartedly accepted her and her baby. Since then his love for her has grown from strength to strength. Geet had become his life.....without her he is lost. We saw what her absence could do to him in the IP track.....
MSK post marriage
Here we got to see another facet of his personality. That of a father. His unwavering love for the unborn, his care and concern for Geet took precedence over his own desires and needs...😳....Here we saw how selfless his love for Geet was....😳
MSK post miscarriage
This was the most trying time of his life. He was a grieving father, a concerned husband who was battling to keep his own emotions in check. He felt powerless and hopeless when he could not wipe away Geet's pain....😭...So understandably his relationship with Geet suffered as both were trying to come to terms with the loss.........He kept his emotions pent up for too long and eventually the volcano simmering within him erupted. Due to his momentary loss of control he lost the person most dear to him....the reason for his existence, Geet walked out on him...
MSK in Amritsar
This man is on a mission.....to woo his wife. He is willing to do whatever it takes to woo her. The great Maan Singh Khurana, the scion of the Khurana family is living the life of a commoner for his Geet....😳...He is once again out to prove to her the depths of his love for her...this time without the tag of the Khurana name. Maan Singh Khurana time and again proves how selfless his love is....😳
In this one year each phase in the story has added a new layer to MSK's personality. His character has evolved over time and kudos to the creatives for conceptualizing this character and its many facets.....👏
A word of appreciation for Gurmeet Choudhary for bringing Maan Singh Khurana to life. Cannot imagine anyone else but him essaying this character....👍🏼
Maan SIngh Khurana is incomplete without his Geet. Its Geet who has brought out the very best in him. Maan and Geet together is what makes this show special....😃

Beeji.....she was introduced to us as a righteous, principled woman who stood up for the rights of those treated unfairly. Do such people insult their employees at every given opportunity. There's a difference between being stern and being plain rude....🤔

Nandini.....what can i say about the girl....she saw Geet talking to a man and voila...dimag ki batti jali and she concluded that he is MSK....😆😆
Geet.....the girl is confused and confusing us in the process...😕...In the first scene she looked upset when she thought MSK had left, in the next scene she looked pained that MSK had to face so many hardships & insults because of her and then in the last scene she told Dev that she would never forget Maan's ''crimes''.........CVs unless you give us her self thoughts we will not understand what she is really going through and thinking. Please don't compromise with her character for the sake of this track....😳
Maan....today marks one year of his entry in the show. He has come a long way since then. Today the Maan Singh Khurana who had to practice saying SORRY in front of the mirror, apologized to Beeji. Today the Maan Singh Khurana who never tolerated anyone speaking to him in a high voice, curbed his anger and silently listened to Beeji's reprimands. All for his Geet...😳....In the car wash scene he was venting out his entire anger & frustration....that was vintage MSK at his best....😍
I think this track is slowly reaching its climax where Geet & Maan finally unite. So in that respect today's episode was good. In the pre-cap Maan is doing Kushti......i guess his Mishti will finally melt after seeing him ghayal...😳😳
PS...CV's during the climax please spare some time showing Geet's thoughts. We need something that would justify her actions...😊....Also do not lose the focus from Maneet.....secondary characters contribute to the screenplay but the leads and their journey is what keeps the viewers hooked to the show...😊
