"The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on."
Maan Singh Khurana, you are a dream man, you are a legend. We have seen so many shades of you so far, your arrogance, your pride, your values, your love, your mannerisms, your possessiveness, your respectfulness, your anger, your attractiveness. You are a dream package and it is almost impossible for one man to possess everything that you do. According to me, true love is when you can look beyond the drawbacks in your companion and love him or her for who they really are, irrespective of what they lack. I have not been able to do that with my husband so far, and I still find faults in everything that he does, so I won't be lying if I tell you that you are my true love. I cannot see anything you do as wrong and have and will always support you and love you unconditionally. The way the script and characterization is going on at the moment, they might soon kill the essance of MSK, but I want you to know that my love for you won't die. You will always hold a special place in my heart. My dream man, Happy Birthday
(All of you who are laughing, stop it right now, Else I will keeel you 🤣)
"We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations."
The greatness of a person is when they don;t see anything as an adversity and consider everything an opportunity. I feel like in this current track, Maan is living up to this statement. The Maan Singh Khurana who we thought could do anything for his pride and respect has today given up these very core values to bring back his wife, his love. Is it so easy for anyone to just give up on things that they have believed in all their life's so easily? Is love really capable of making you do all this? Well, maybe. But in all practicality, it is a little bit of a stretch. So I think Maan is being able to adapt to this current situation and try to win back his love because he has always believed that no profession is small and no-one is small because of what you do. From the beginning, the one thing he has opposed explicitly is dependence. But otherwise, he is respectful of everyone. So becoming a driver is just an opportunity for Maan to win his Geet back and be around her. He may not really look at it as unworthy profession for himself. He will make the best of any situation that is presented to him and will come out of it victorous. That is the sign of a true winner, win in every situation, irrespective if what it is.
"Whenever you're in conflict with someone, there is one factor that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it. That factor is attitude."
The elders have always told us, too much of anything is too bad. Itna zyada pyaar kar liye, ki aaj kuch bhi bhoolna mushkil pad raha hai.
We have debated time and again as to who is right and who is wrong in this entire track. And most of the times I might have been the one starting the debate too. When we anticipated this fight between Maan and Geet, we imagined that this scenario was being introduced to make sure Maan and geet realize what is missing in their marriage, their communication with each other. Marriage does not mean that you are needed to do everything together and you forget your individuality. You are free to make many decisions on your own for yourself and even on behald of your spouse. But the maginitude and impactfulness of the situation itself has to always be considered. When you invest in a house, you seldom do it without the knowledge of your spouse. It is a combined decision for various aspects. Similarly, in this Dev forgiveness scenario, Maan and Geet crossed their boundaries. And both needed to make amends.
But in the current track, Maan is making more amends that Geet. Which is fine, if Geet was being reasonable. This anger on Geet;s part is stretching a bit too much and it is important that she changes her attitude before everything will be lost and broken beyond repair.
CV's, please cut this anger and make Geet see things for what they are. We have understood her pain, her hurt, her anger and even support it. But now it is stretching a little beyond the limits, and it will be good to pull back.
"Your birth is a mistake you'll spend your whole life trying to correct."
Thinking about it, so far there is nothing that Dev has done in his life that has worked well and good for anyone, irrespective of his intentions. Makes me wonder, will this guy get anything right in his life? Maybe he was born to keep making amends and feel regretful and sorry all the time. Can anyone's life's purpose be just that? I don't know. But this character looks like that to me. If anyone of you can think of one thing this guy has done which has made any positiive difference in anyone's life, please tell me. I am dying to know.
Pre-cap
I guessed it right. Maan will fight to save Lucky's reputation. Aakhir hai to saala. Bachana toh padega hi. This should be fun to watch.
