Maan waited for Sweetu to bid hum her last goodbye. He held the packet, beautifully wrapped in a pink paper, carefully. Avantika and Yash were very very sad about Maan & geet.
LOCATION: HANDA HOUSE
TIME: 9:15am
Geet and her parents descended the stairs of their dream house…..all the servants and office staff were present there! Geet held a beautifully wrapped small packet in her tiny little hands. All had tears in their eyes. Mohinder walked ahead and bid farewell to all the office staffs and the servants. All the servants hugged geet and cried – their cutest friend was going away! They thanked Jasmeet for being such a good mistress!
Driver loaded the luggage in the car and a tearful Handa family of three drove towards their final destination before leaving for India – Khurana Mansion.
LOCATION: KHURANA MANSION
TIME: 9:45am
Everybody sat in the living room exchanging their final chit-chats. Both the families had known each other for the past 5 years and going away so suddenly…..never to come back again……was something very painful! Avantika and Jasmeet cried as the gents had their final drinks together – CHEERS TO LIFE – it was all that they could say!
Everything seemed so cold and desolate….as if a pall of gloom had descended over the house……..
Everything was silent for Maan and Geet….both sat on the couch facing each other, holding the gifts. But they neither spoke nor gave each other's gifts. They just sat quietly looking into each other's eyes – may be trying to read what the other person was thinking.
Kawaii wonders…..the life of her little angels had become so much silent🥺!! Sadness and silence in life is just like music – LIKE A SAD ADAGIO!!! You say so many things without actually saying anything!😳
Flight was due at 12 noon. It was already 10:00 am and as per rules you need to be there at the airport 2-3 hours earlier than the scheduled time.
It was time to leave. Jasmeet and Mohinder walked out followed by Yash and Avantika. Maan and geet walked together slowly, behind others.
The car stood in front of them. It was a difficult moment for all of them. After exchanging their final goodbyes and well wishes, Mohinder & Jasmeet got inside and waited for geet.
Maan & geet slowly walked towards the car. As they reached near, geet walked ahead and stood in front facing him.
Geet (nearly crying): I…..I'm going MK.
Maan looked at her….his football was going……now who would listen to his each & every word…..obey his every order without any complaint…..it was true that he wanted to "hukum chalao" on geet…but he himself didn't know that they'd turn out to be such good friends……tears welled down his cheeks!
Maan: umm……me….mein tumhare liye kuch laya
Geet: mein bhi…..got something for you….
Both extended their gifts towards each other. Tears didn't seem to stop. Geet took her present and turned to leave! She didn't want to face him for long…or else it would really get difficult for her! But Maan just couldn't bear the sight o0f her going away and called her out, "Sweetu…."
She was about to walk away without saying anything but his voice stopped her.
Maan (sobbing): tum…..tum mujhe bhool to nahi jaogi na???
That was it……she couldn't stop herself from turning back! She ran and hugged him tight….she started crying! She didn't want to cry but she couldn't help it. Maan held her tightly and cried with her too. Their parents could do nothing but cry silently with them.
Geet held him tightly and cried, "I don't want to go MK….mein nahi jaana chahti…"
She cried and cried and cried!!! Maan too wasn't willing to let her go. But they were getting late for the flight! Jasmeet called her unwillingly.
Jasmeet (crying): gudiya…..chalo we are getting late!!!
Avantika just hugged Yash and cried seeing the bond between Maan and Geet. Geet unwillingly left him and started wiping her tears with her bare hands. She had become red like a tomato. Maan looked at her and gave her a smile.
Maan: sob…tum…sob….kabhi nahi sob….badlogi na???
Geet couldn't understand what he meant and made a baby face, "umm??"
Maan made a "you-are-so-clumsy" face just like the day when he first met her, and took out a stark white, properly ironed, neatly folded hamnkie from his pocket and extended it towards her! She could very well remember his face when he offered his hankie to her for the very 1st time.
She took it in her chubby pink little hands and wiped herself dry. She even blew her nose into it. Poor Maan looked helplessly at his hankie being assaulted by his Sweetu……may for the last time!
After wiping herself dry, she again folded the hankie neatly the way it was by carefully folding it along the crease of the previous fold and extended it to him!
Maan : umm…you keep it!
She looked at him and smiled cutely. He was very happy to see her smile…..may be for the last time….he thought! But her smile vanished as she got herself inside the car!
As the car moved, she looked out of the window and shouted. " bye bye MK……..bye bye…." Her voice became lower! Maan waved goodbye to her as she got herself inside!
She held his gift tightly and looked at him through the transparent back glass of the car…he too held her gift tightly near his heart and looked at her!!! He could clearly see her tears from such a far distance. He stood there like a statue and kept looking at her till the car was out of his sight! Same was with geet too. She kept looking back till he was out of her sight!

LOCATION: HEATHROW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT,
LONDON
TIME: 10:40 am
HEATHROW AIRPORT of London saw a very strange sight at the security check.
A girl – a chubby pink girl – around 10 years old was being carried by a man….may be her father! Her mother was following them. She was crying her eyes out!!! She had held her daddy tightly round his neck and placed her chin on his shoulder and cried and cried and cried! Jasmeet felt a little embarrassed as she could not miss the number of eyes staring at them suspiciously! Geet had turned completely red.
She held her gift in one hand and his hankie in the other. As they reached the airport, the little angel had launched her SATYAGRAHA and refused to get out of the car! When no persuation, chiding, cajoling and coaxing worked, finally Mr. Handa has carried her on his shoulders and had walked off!!!
Some people really thought that the little girl was being kidnapped. Poor Mr. and Mrs Handa…both felt like hiding somewhere being cautios about the number os eyes staring at them. Geet still kept crying.
Kawaii *crying* sob….sob…..she doesn't want to go to India either…sob…sob!!!😭😭
They sat in the waiting room and patiently waited for further announcements. Geet was crying loudly.
"Sweetu…" that was probably the last time he had called her that way! She kept thinking about him and criedendlessly, no matter how much her parents tried to diver her mind!!! She wouldn't even budge. People were really looking suspiciously at the couple.
Jasmeet (lovingly): oye geet…rona band kar! Sab tujhe hi dekh rahe hain.
Geet heard nothing! Rather she held her gifts and continued with her cries.
Jasmeet (irritated): geet…if you don't stop crying NOW, I'll…..i'll….
She thought for a while what to say. But then her eyes fell on her gifts!
Jasmeet (smirking): if you don't stop crying NOW, I'll take away your gifts and hide it somewhere. Then you won't be able to find them ever again!
At once geet stopped crying. She held the gifts even tighter and closer to her and looked at her mother with her red swollen eyes.
Geet: sob…mamma…threaten…sob…Mk ka gift nai…..sob….
and she started wailing even louder than ever! Jasmeet looked at her husband helplessly and felt like hitting her head somewhere! Suddenly her cell beeped. It was Avantika.
Jasmeet: hello!
Avantika: Jasmeet, aap kahan hain?
Jasmeet: hum to airport mein hain. Kyun…sab theek to hai na???
Avantika could hear someone wailing.
Avantika: is that Sweetu?
Jasmeet: sigh…sadly, it is her!
Avantika: humare sahabzade bhi kuch kam nahi hain! Aapke jaane ke baad se apna mooh phoola kar baithe hain. He says he wouldn't speak to anyone unless he speaks to his sweetu!
Jasmeet (smiling): theek hai aap Maan ko dijiye….mein geet se uski baat karati hoon! This girl hasn't stopped crying since the moment we had left your place!!!
