one of a kind i must say.....most parents feel happy that their kids are capable of taking care of their issues...they think that atleast after we are gone they will be able to take care of themselves....

here the whole thing is the other way round....they want to create dependency....so that their kids can come running to them for every little thing

also it was so rude of them to take pleasure of the whole incident when akshara was fumbling with cooking the marwari food....when she asked for help..they actually ridiculed her

& instead of being happy on their daughter-in-law's capabilities ..they were actually worried when she succeeded.

I understand their concern abt the kids being too independent...but creating constant conflict is no way of being in their life..............either they are angry with them or they are praising them for something...there can never be normal peaceful life for them...

real crappy protraition of insecurities!!!

I just wanted to post the same thing. When akshara asked them for help they said they cant help and when she made the food they are not happy. How many times do they want her to come and ask them. They are so rude they were so happy when akshara was struggling and then they lied and fully refused to help her.
This is why i dont want them to bring the pregnancy track. There will be no change. The batwara will end but what is the point. They are going to make akshara stop talking to her friend or trying new things. Also when they need to resolve their issues before bring the baby. When the baby comes the same thing will happen they wont even be able to raise their kid according to their wishes.

Like every new parents have the desire to go to parenting classes, learn how to make baby food shop for the baby make the nursery. However in here they will be questioned in every step. There was no point to this batwara.

And our parents are always praying for us to become more independent and have our own life and be successful but all this family wants is their kids to be fully dependent on them. They should be happy they have a daughter in law like akshara if it was someone else she would have taken natik and moved out already.

The only reason the family wants to end the batwara is because the kids are actually managing to live their own life and why shouldnt day they are both adults and educated.

I think staying together in a joint family is not about creating dependencies or being independent in life! It is about feeling and staying close to loved ones.
Naksh are good children that they still respect DJ, Bm so much.
This DJ is a kharoos old man 😡

I didn't understand that attitude

All day long they waited for Akshara to ask them, and when she finally did come to ask them, they rejected her.

Once rejected, why would Akshara go back to them?

If I were Akshara, I would be thinking that, 'I already asked Maa and Bhabhi Maa, and they refused, what else is there left to do? I might as well search for a recipe online'

And Gayatri and Bhabhi Maa saw her hesitating around them all day. They could have spoken up and offered her some help.

When Daddji was refusing to eat anything, Gayatri and Bhabhi Maa didn't even have to ask Akshara to make the soup. She just made it for him

But yesterday, instead of telling Akshara about the wood, they just walked away. Instead of helping Akshara with the food, they just walked away

Then they expect the Naitik and Akshara still be dependant on them? Why? If my parents were like that, I'd learn to become independant, and fast
