Hi, I know many writers must have been irritated by limitations of the forum, writers just want to write whatever comes in their mind without any boundary, I feel like we should have some outside blog for all writers (FF, OS or SS), you can start here and quickly shift to the blog with a link , where all people can follow you, or something that sort of, where at least won't be any limitations of pages or content. I am not even sure that this post will be not taken off, seriously I can understand that many people are already leaving forum and I could be one of them soon, but I won't stop writing, so let's see what are the choices we have to transfer the same audience to blog or Facebook page.

Any thoughts readers or writers?

Well . . . Jyoti actually made a new rule (no outside links, etc) I think that this topic will be closed due to this. But I can give the suggestion of fanfic.net. Or as Dilibadat did she took it to blogger.

BTW writers its all good :) Fanfic forum to the rescue!

Quite a few writers seem to be moving their FF's on to their own blog and I don't think it's a bad idea at all!

I often find that there are WAY too many rules and regulations and it almost kills the story and puts the writer off so PM'ing your readers the link to your blog can be a pretty good idea. In fact Sana did that too for her GurTi FF and I'm actually glad she continued it on her blog or else here she would not have been allowed to continue it simply because it had GurTi in it *rolls eyes* and was not supposed to be read by little kids.

I don't think this topic should be closed if it's just a writer asking for readers' opinions.

I do not actually know what the major problems the writers are facing but one things for sure, where writing is concerned, the fewer the rules the writers have to adhere to , the better.

Otherwise it can really kill the essence of the write up. I would definitely want to follow writers on this forum and do not mind the stories being in the fanfic forum at all, but yes if the writers do choose to end up somewhere else they may pm their links and their readers will follow.
