Episode begins with Abhishek burning photographs and other memories of his and Nandini.Seeing the fire Savitri gets scared and takes him to her room.Abhi sits there as if in shock with no reaction whatsoever.His hands are burnt and Savitri applies ointment on them.She tells him that he is no longer a kid and has to take up responsibilities now just as Nandini takes responsibility of her father.She tells him to move on as Nandini has also moved on despite the fact that she and Alka had both tried to stop her.She asks him to respect Nandini's decision and forget her.Abhi is non-reactive throughout this.
Chander is shown working hard at the party office.Aarti is impressed with him and thinks that she has made the right decision.Her PA comes and she tells him that NNT has made a huge mistake in not giving Chander wnough credit.Alka comes to the party office and she and Chander hold hands.Aarti thinks to herself that what would NNT think of their relationship and says she will reveal all this when the time is right.
Chander and Alka go out for lunch where Chander is given special treatment.He tells Alka how happy he is with Aarti's party and he is enjoying his work.He says that he doesn't want anything bad for Abhi and that Alka should join politics.Alka asks him not to talk about politics and he agrees saying he thinks about Alka all the time.They enjoy their lunch and when CHander gets a call from the party office and he leaves.Alka also goes home.
NNT is shown talking to his Maharaja friend and tells him that Abhi's and Gauri's wedding will take place soon.Abhi comes and talks to NNT.He says that NNT wants him to join politics and he is ready to do so.He asks NNT whether he really wants to give Abhi his position in society as he loves his Chair too much!NNT is surprised at Abhi's behaviour.Abhi switches on the TV and shows him Aarti's press conference where she is introducing Chander. Abhi says NNT has made a big mistake by letting Chander go and a huge no. of votes has also left their party with him.NNT says Aarti is very shrewd to which Abhi replies that even NNT would have done the same had he been in that situation.Abhi says he is willing to join politics on one condition that NNT has to take the backseat and let him do what he wants to.NNT tries to make him understand that he wants the best for his son but Abhi is in no mood to listen.
Govind calls informing NNT that the police have decided to shut the Gopal case and NNT is glad.Abhi comes in and asks Govind to arrange a press conference.When NNT asks him what he has in mind Abhi doesnt tell him and just asks him to see the 8 o'clock news.
