After seeing the maha episode last night, I was very dissapointed with the way it ended, and made me realize if we do have a Tere Liye season 2, the cvs will be confused in how to start the season with where they left of. Taking in the fact that ekta loved twists and turns, I kinda brainstormed how I might have wanted to see the new season, with Anu falling of the cliff. ( I think it is so hillarious how ekta's cvs love to kill if HC with brutal deaths that deal with fire.)
[ however, I don't want Anu coming back into their lives in exactly the way Prem did in KDHMD. Looking back at how they made Anu not pagal, I just realized they did the same thing in kdhmd with prem pretending to not know his family bc he wanted to protect them. Wow so creative of cvs!! I rather see him experiment as a shady Anu/ Devdas for a short while.]
Please bring back TERE LIYE season 2, there are still many unfinished parts that have to be known in order for us to feel complete. Tere Liye season 2 could be all about how Taani reacts when Anu falls from the cliff, how she mourns for days in their room, and has fantasies of happy moments with Anu and their unborn child, only to later realize that she was dreaming. Basically she could grow crazy, always see him everywhere, and interact with him as if he was actually there and not take notice of the fact that he is actually dead. The audience would be in her fantasy world, and later by the pressure of her family and the health of the child, she would realize the reality of his apparent death, justice would be served with Ritesh, yaada yaada yaada. Later she teaches herself to cope with Anu being gone, though a small part of her still yearns for him, but sooner or later she starts sees less of him and of their private conversations, and thinks more about the baby. She meets the music director, and starts to help support the family by singing, which later leads her to great success and popularity in the music world.
Meanwhile, we see Anu actually surviving the accident (obviously) and losing his memory for a short period of time. The only thing he remembers is this girl in his head, whom he has no idea about except the fact that her name is mishti. While experiencing this short time memory loss, he is helped by this host family, who are trying to get him to remember his past. During this time, he and taani run into each other many times, without actually meeting each other, and later he remembers everything, goes to his home, sees Taani happy with music dude, and tries to move on. During this time, he takes a new identity, starts to drink to wash away his pain and be able to move on, but always seems to keep an eye on taani being her "gaurdian angel", while also trying to make her remember him and be a part of her new life, without her knowing it. Taani seems to sense that someone is always helping her and is reminded of Anu, but forces herself to realize he is gone ( she has already been in this path) but still feels like he is out there somewhere. Being the curious person she is, this causes her to search for him, miraculouslyfinding the people he associated with, and to trace his tracks. This makes her believe he is alive, but then realizes that family has already seen her in this path, and she is reading into things too seriously. Sbe lets the idea of Anu go, knowing that if he was alive, he would come back to her. During this course they meet many times, without actually seeing each other, but always feeling each others presence only to realize they are overeacting.
And then music director comes into scene. Anu gets jealous with him being so kind with Tanu, and tries to screw with him which seems to only backfire and later seems to realize maybe she has moved on. Still a small part disagrees and keeps trying to get her attention, but realizes it is hopeless. But in reality, Taani comforts herself through music, because it is the way she remembers the special moments she shared with him, and always imagines Anu in front of her within the crowd. Anu, being so careless, doesn't realize this consistantly drinks himself to near overdose which leads him to the mental asylum, shutting himself from reality, and imagining himself in his fantasy world where he, Taani, and their kid live a happy life. From an outsiders pov, the audience basically sees him act crazy.
Meanwhile, Taani is somehow able to trace Anu through Subodh who ran into him, while visiting the asylum. Anu tries to avoid him, but Subodh always attempts to make conversation with him. Later he learns from the nurse, Anu never talks and always stares into space. She says he has no family, or anyone he acknowledges of. Subodh realizing what has happened, tries to get him to talk and remember everything, but miserably fails and realizes Taani needs to know. When Taani and Anu meet, the audience sees how the two interact with each other in the present, and how in the beginning Anu avoids her completely and later slowly responses to everything she does to him, without her realizing it.He plays with her mind, while she desperately tries hard to make him remember. Although he knows he is hurting her, he also knows she has a new family with whom she has moved on. But he is confused about why she still urges to make him remember her and their past, if she has already let go of what they had.
Meanwhile, inside their minds, they fantasize about romancing with the other, things that they might have done under different circumstances, giving us Taanu scenes, while both slowly blossoming into a new level of their love for each other. In the end, Anu and Taani make up, with Anu realizing that he can't live his life like this anymore and is going to fight fir what is his. We later see them trying to rebuild their lives together, suceeding every obstacle with their trust for one another.
(throughout this whole summary, nothing should be overdramatized, instead be simplistic and realistic like the way Tere Liye usually is. It should have morals, sweet, happy, and understanding moments that allow the fans to realize what the meaning of LOVE and sacrifice for "TERE LIYE" is all about, without overdoing it. The inteactions and the reasons for their actions should have meaning as well as be realistic without acting like god. Every small thing they do should count.)
- this is what I think Tere Liye Season 2 should be like, that way we see Anu pagal like in the promos, and their are enough Taanu scenes that allow us to be satisfied, as well as allowingthe cv to plan the tracks the way they wanted to. It's a win win situation for both sides. And personally, I think it would be somewhat interesting to see more of an aggressive, practically crazy, alcoholic, and shady Anu; but I don't want the cv to portray him the way they did with roby.
