Cricketers bollywood stars can sell products why not Arpita.... Singing is her talent nobody can take it away from her. only famous people sell products. Ustad Zakie Husein sells Taj Tea. That doesnt mean he doesnt have any other job. Good luck Arpita

T'day, every celebrity sells product. even Sania Mirza did ad for nescafe..... n if u talk about singers, Sonu nigam also did ads, n if u talk about contestants, then our very own Ist Indian Idol Abhijeet sawnat also did advertisement and Rahul vaidya is also no less. when their ads r on air, ppl discusses about them in +ve way, n now Arpita did some ad, y there r soo -ve thoughts.

she is doing playback singing as well as live shows.

......n one thing we all should keep in mind..

body and looks are the gift of GOd. there is nothing to laugh abt it. And many celebraties praised Arpita for her beauty.

I agree 100%...Singers too need branding, like sportstars, filmstars etc.

Personal Branding is so very important. Also, that brand can be used to sell products.

Yes, I agree, Talent never dies but talent also needs a platform to be projected and marketted. Many good talent gets wasted for the want of infrastructure, grooming and marketting.

Also, it takes time (maybe years) for any artist to establish..Media seems to be too impatient to write people off too soon or hype someone too early.

Case in point is..as soon as II-2 was declared today morning we read articles about how II-1 has gone into obilivion. The very media till yesterday tom-tomed his acheivements of record sales of "Aap ka Abhijit". So, its just a cycle thats all..😛
