i think that the real culprit is the voting system and the sony channel..NOT the indian junta!! many people blame the indian junta b/c they seem the most likely choice. but i think that sony channel should develop a better voting system...let's take sandeep and karunya's example...we all know that people in bikaner stayed up day and night voting continuously for sandeep. but the channel should look at not only the tremendous amount of votes coming from just one area but also from throughout india....if sandeep has only been receiving votes from just one area and not really from everywhere else then he is NOT the INDIAN IDOL....he's the BIKANER IDOL!! i am sure many people have voted for sandeep elsewhere too but maybe not to the extent that karunya recieved. if sandeep got (let's say) 20,000 votes(most of them being bikaner) and karuna got (let's say) 15,000 from everywhere else in india then clearly then india wants karunya and only bikaner want sandeep soooo then the channel shouldnt say indian junta has picked sandeep as their idol b/c that's NOT TRUE!!!!
i have great respect and affection for the indian junta and being an indian, i KNOW we are not dumb and we CAN recognize talent!!! the blame should be how the channel is looking at the votes and how they are spread out. they shouldnt concentrate just on numbers!!!!
this is just my opinion and you may agree which is great and you may disagree which is great too but pls no personal attacks!!
