STAR Parivaar Awards are here… The biggest and most awaited television awards ceremony ever, will be full of surprises this year!

STAR Parivaar Awards, this year, has created a new standard for television awards by going international and fulfilling its beloved parivaar sadaysas wishes. Upholding the promise of Honge Sapne Sakaar, STAR Plus takes all the viewers and the Star family sadasyas to the dream destination –Macao!!

After the impressive and overwhelming ambience at The Venetian Macao, and the glittering red carpet, experience the spectacular opening ceremony of the awards with all the grandeur of exotic Macao, with aerial artistes, Portuguese dancers, magicians and stilt walkers on stage. Next up will be performances by our very own delightful desis, followed by six STAR Parivaar families, who will put their dancing feet together in a dramatically choreographed performance, which will definitely rock your living room.

To grace the occasion and make it really special was the extraordinary guest, superstar Hrithik Roshan, who charmed the entire gathering and brought a spark in everyone's eyes. He was present at the awards as he too is now part of the STAR Parivaar as his show, Just Dance, is all set to launch on STAR Plus. Check out the actor having a good time with all the leading ladies, along with the most dreaded Sasuma- Kokilaben (Rupal Patel) of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. Don't miss the highlight of the evening which left everyone dumbstruck, when none other than Hrithik Roshan went down on his knees and proposed on stage to Kokilaben. It was indeed a great sight to see her blushing and turning red. Hrithik then gave her a jadu ka jhappi which brought tears to her eyes as she was taken aback with Hrithik's gesture. The superstar also charmed Pratigya and Suhana and made the evening special for them as well.

While there was lot of enthusiasm and energy in the air, the STAR Parivaar Awards got all your favorite sadasyas grooving on stage. Dance along with Ishaan (Jay Soni) and Suhana (Ragini Khanna) of Sasural Genda Phool as they rock the STAR Parivaar Awards with their chemistry in their romantic performance on the song Soniyo while Aditya (Raqesh Vashishth) and Priya (Riddhi), of Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak..?, dance to Tumko paaya hai from Om Shanti Om, which was their first ever performance and totally stupendous. Also, check out the romance between Aham (Mohd Nazim)- Gopi (Gia Manek) from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya as they groove on the romantic number Tum Jo Aaye Zindagi Mein from Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. The romantic pair Naitik (Karan Mehra) and Akshara (Hina Khan) of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, fell in love all over again during their romantic performance on Ye Tera Zikr Hai from Guzaarish. Viren (Kinshuk Mahajan) and Nivedita (Neha Sargam) of Chand Chhupa Badal Mein too will be seen expressing their love in the romantic track Tere Bina from Crook. Taani (Anupriya Kapoor) of Tere Liye will be seen dancing to the old song Bichoya in a group dance theme- old vs young, whereas Ritesh (Nikhil Arya) the baddie of Tere Liye will compete with various STAR Plus characters in a special act. Jigar (Vishal Singh) and Rashi (Rucha Harbans) too won't be left behind and will dance at the event with the entire Modi parivaar for company to Prem Jaal. Anurag, Anuj and Angad will stick to a macho performance theme with fire stunts, jumping in the air and some other stupendous stunts. So don't miss the splendid performances.

As it is Pratigya's (Pooja Gor) second year with STAR Parivaar, she will host the opening act with Viren (Kinshuk) where both of them will be arrive in a Gondola, strung up in the air!!! You wouldn't want to miss out on any of them.

The first act of the show is a spectacular dance by Mukti Mohan, Aksshat, Shaleen Bhanot and Sanjeeda Sheikh while the finale on the Star anthem, Tu Hi Tu…, will leave you mesmerized. Pratigya, Taani, Geet (Pavitra Punia), Gopi, Rashi - all STAR Plus' leading ladies will be seen on stage together, for the very first time on Indian television, clad in STAR Plus' signature red. It is a closing act that will always be cherished.

If the acts and performances are magnificent, the hosts and the segments too are pretty interesting with the most funny one being Ayushmaan and Suhana's while Naitik, Manasi Parekh, Viren, Pratigya, Gopi, Ishaan, Disha bhabhi too will wow the audience in the show.
