TODAY I AM ASHAMED TO BE AN INDIAN

I am ashamed to be an INDIAN today, when we stop being being State focussed and India focussed only that day will India become a progressive country. All the judges and even Javed Akhtar Sahab felt that Karunya was a great singer, once again we Indians have voted as North Indians and South Indians and not as just Indians. Today Amit Tandon, Rahul Vaidya and Amit Sana are more popular than Abhijeet Sawant, tomorrow NC Karunya will be more popular than Sandeep, 2-3 years later no one will remember Sandip but Karunya, will be a great playback singer, because he has talent. Like Anu Malik said Karunya weather he wins the Indian Idol or not, he will be great singer, he will be the industries number 1 singer. He is the only contestant who got standing ovations from all the judges, from Sonu Nigam, Anu Malik, Farah Khan even Sunil Shetty and Visal/Shekar. Throughout the galas he got only one negative comment, unlike Sandip who has got so many negative comments. Sandip has not one, he has got sympathy votes, like Javad Akhtar Sahab said he who wins with sympathy will loose very quickly. Today noone cares who Qazi, Rurekha or Rex are, but Rahul Vaidya and Amit Sana are known for their talent. Tomorrow Karunya will be known for his talent not for the public's senseless votes!

How can the Indian Pulic Know better than the judges and guest judges, better than Sonu Nigam who like Javed Akhtar Sahab said is Indias leading singer today.

Karunya has talent and he will be the best Indian Idol find, he does not need a title to climb up, like SP Balasubramaiam, Chitra and A R Rehman and many others Karunya does not need votes to come up, his talent will take him to the top.

well i share most of your pain my friend ....but dont let that make you feel negative about fellow Indians .....most of them are ignorant ....forgive them ....talent always shines through i have total faith in Karunya ...title or no title he will win his way in life ....i am very confident .......don't feel sad as you believe in him ....no award or title is needed to prove that he is talanted .....let sandeep have his day as a winner 😊

at this stage.. i think anuj n sandeep should b top 2.
anyways for many of us it was a disapponiting results. but we should congratulate Sandeep for his success and crowing of title.

i fully agree with u ann_belle. i knew when anuj went out and sandeep got the highest votes that he was gonna win. pwople of bikaner even said that karunya is better than sandeep but the only reason they voted for sandeep was because he was from bikaner. not just you ann_belle but i am ashamed of being an indian today. i know one day karunya is going to be on the top and nobody will even remember sandeep. sometimes winners are loosers and losers are winners. one day karunya is going to prove this right. 😔

Guys empty rhetoric doesn't do anything...these artists do not deserve such setbacks....

As much as I am disappointed, how does being Indian have to do with this? Its just a TV show.
