I dont think hes attractive but very girlish looking! On How he got here his name! Were he not a kapoor he be long gone! (hes too over rated)

I think he is totally overrated. He is def not that great looking and his acting is not even that great. The only acting he did in Rajneeti was making cunning faces. I guess that's acting...very overrated performance IMO. 🤔

The reason why am his fan, and to answer your question on what got him where he is today...Well, it's his Charisma more than anything IMO. The kapoor name alone is not gonna get him anywhere. Yes it gets him films, but if he doesnt charm people in those films, than the kapoor name does nothing for him. Popular example is Junior Bachan. Why isn't he as famous as Ranbir despite having a Bachan name? Answer: Because Ranbir has Charisma lol

Another thing that made Ranbir famous is his script choices. This guy is really smart and he knows what young people like to watch on screen. Am saying young ppl..because most of his films are for young ppl...WAS, BAH, ect! I loved every one of his films minus Saawariya and AA. I haven't seen Rocket Singh...but I dont think am gonna like it.

Another thing that made Ranbir famous is his bad boy image. Every other day, we hear in the news he is with a different girl! 🥱

Kapoor surname (please the initial hype around him was Rishi-Neetu's son is debuting then oh em geee he's soooooo hot!). Though he proved very fast that he deserved to be here..It took Kareena years to convince me that she had something in her barring her surname. AB Baby still hasn't convinced me a decade later that he deserves to be here.

Likeable on screen. Controversial off screen. Same reason why Kareena is where she is right now. These two Kapoor siblings have what it takes to stick around despite flops.

I don't think Ranbir has that many flops compared to bebo! I think one of the reasons he become such a huge star was giving hits after hits. He is really good at picking good films. While with bebo...the less said the better! 😆

Only Sawariya didn't do well. But after that, BAH, WAK, and APKGH and Rajneeti...all back to back hits...with few flops.

Oh I see what your saying Dexter, and I agree. I think the only reason I sat through the torture of Saawarya was because of Ranbir's charm!

See that is the charm these two bhai behan have....They are pretty watchable in mediocre movies too unlike the rest ....That is their key in sustaining so long....
