I totaly agree with the post above and going to play the devils advocate....ssp is a great actor we love to hate....but his son who adores him and thinks of him as god,,, to his knowledge, starts going behind his back and may backfire, because of the woman he now loves and was wiling to leave home for.....the same woman who keeps emotionally blackmaiing him... to expose him...and everything he has will fall apart as a sand castle...and even though he threatened to hurt her dad....she agreed and then went again behind his back....and showing adi ....by hook or crook...the older priya was more blunt and told him off,...this one is being sneaky and he does not know which way the tide will turn and when....
what happened....priya is the last one to blame...but if she cannot leave aditya...needs to move elswhere rather then live under same roof....and self destruct her own marriage....she has seen the extent father and son will go to....and no matter how passionatey he loves her....those sentiments and emotions are a double edged sword....priya is turning sneaky and the son who never hid anything from him is going mia...2 days in a row...they were pushing the envelope and too far too soon and got his negative attention....sad but true.
maybe what ssp is doing is cruel....but in self defense and protect his identity....no different than what uttara did to rishabh....not the the violent extent but the principal of it....just like uttara could not take the risk of being beaten up again and loss of her identity and self respect....he cannot take the risk of being exposed and lose his standing and respect in society by this new woman in the household, on the block and wants to shut her up forever.....
at the end of the day i hope this does not backfire....because he is digging a deeper hole for himself and and she is caught between a rock and hard place.....what is that saying...( .dhobi ka....no ghar ka na ghat ka....) cannot live without aditya, cannot live under same roof as him... but has discovered that there is a siamese connection between the 2.....for him paternal love on the scale is heavier than spousal love....a bitter pill to swallow indeed..... in a way she is more tortured than uttara was, but mental abuse....and noone can see the covered up marks.
