I feel bad for Sheenu's parents at times - moreso her dad... The girl's parents are always so subdued, always crossed hands and bowed heads and worried that the boy's family doesnt get offended at something... In the Shagan ceremony particularly, they made her dad look almost like a culprit... 😔

This is all about Indian tradition,customs&cultures.
This is a common in all shadi that girl's parents had to bow there heads well dont like this at all.

it only happens where people r less educated and less cultured....to feel superior just for being grooms family..............

it just may be true but not only education is the reason,the society & the people are also the reason.its just like the other rituals.

Actually women are women's enemy...if a women says mein apne bete ki shaadi mein dahej nai loongi then dowry problem will be sorted out ...infact if a women takes a stand then most of society's evils will wash out. but no...we women are selfish to the core... dahej dena nai par lena zaroor hai.
