I don't know if this is Samir Sharma's exit...
If Dev is good, then his 'mission', as you say, is done. He has nothing left to do in the story!
If he is bad, again the baby is gone, so if he was not after Geet and baby, then?

Only time will tell. But I hope the cvs don't waste his talents!
