But Geet's motive was purely for her own .. she could care less if Dev fell in a ditch and died .. she just wanted him off her back!

Yep. It was to give herself some peace. Poor girl thinks that Babaji (her god) is punishing her for some sins of hers and she doesn't have the strength to lose more, so she doesn't want to hold a grudge against anyone anymore. She wants to start a new life with Maan with a clean slate, with no shadows of her past hanging over them.

Of course, just so Dev is in no doubt, she does clearly say that what he did is NOT worthy of forgiveness(maafi).
