Who is our next Indian Idol - it will be decided on 22nd April in the Nation's biggest talent hunt show on Sony TV but both finalists are not letting any stone unturned! As the Karunya fever is increasing day by day in Hyderabad; Sandeep is also getting on high ride in the Hindi belt of the nation.
Sonu Nigam, who is very precise, critical and idealistic in his comments for the finalists, has also accepted that Sandy is a tough competitor and can even be next Indian Idol.
The celeb Judge of the Tuesday show actor Arbaaz Khan called Sandeep as "Dhoni of the Indian Music reality shows". He not only said it in the show but in an interview to a national channel after the program, he mentioned that to be an Indian Idol, one not only needs melodious voice but must also have all four qualities including personality and Sandeep has all of them.
Sandeep fever is also rising not only in his home state but elsewhere also in the nations. In his home state Rajasthan, during a folk fair in Jodhpur, everyone was appealing for the vote n support to Sandeep. One crazy fan in Nagaur District (Rajasthan) has also set a booth with 10 mobile phones where anyone can come n vote for Sandeep anytime.
Even in the non-hindi belt in North East including Lakimpur, Itanagar, Naharlaagun, Jorhat, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Tejpur, Guwahaati and other places, people are campaigning for their favorite Sandeep. A local newspaper also published an article highlighting Sandeep and titled it " After Debu fever, its Sandeep's high time". People in Indore are on the high note for Sandeep and their passion is going beyond limits. In Mumbai, people have started pointing Sony TV for one-sided interest and side-lining Sandeep against his fellow finalist Karunya. A Mumbai newspaper has also published a news article and quoted a spokesman from Sony TV that the way people are supporting Sandeep is way too much and that's why they had to promote Karunya.
