CID article In todays Pune times

CID is a part of our day to day life now.. From the sms on our mobile saying "Daya darvaja tod do.." including some funny things to a mail made from using patent dialogues of CID to the children playing CID in our colony, We connect to CID every now and then.. What is there in this series that we are seeing it for past 13 years? Why do we like it? Why the team members are not tired of playing same characters for last decade? Everytime a new and interesting story, Lots of new locations How they manage all? This what pune times team tried to know directly from the CID team...

Bhool gaya sabkuch(Aditya shrivastav)

Aditya shrivastav sometimes forgot that his real name isnt Abhijeet.. There are 2 reasons.. Firstly Character of insp Abhijeet is widely popular and second is Abhijeet has lost his memory (😛)

No one is so confident about success of CID than Abhijeet..

He says " Though the series is crime based it can be seen from all age groups. The violence, murder are not OTT so everyone can enjoy the show. The plus point is single episode single story.. To know what will happen next the viewers need not wait till the next episode"

How you bring newness to your character after playing it for so many years?

He answers- "Ask Sachin if he is tired of hitting ball by bat? No naa.. Thats what the case with me.. The plus point of CID is its variety. Guest artists, Outdoor locations, various celebrities give me opportunities to play variations in my role ."

Abhijeet is confident that people will love CID movie..They will get to see a very spectacular and deep mystery from the movie.

He didnt fail to thank the people for the great CID sms series.He enjoys it a lot.

We asked him when will Abhijeet regain his memory?

He says "It is better if the memory doesnt come back so that we can make more episodes on that " (😆😆😆 Hmmm so our Adi sir does talk.. I am very happy 😃😳)

Mystery aawadte lokana (People love mystery - Shivaji satam)

Shivaji satam aka ACP Pradyuman ' By raising an eyebrow, shutting his eyes and doing action of fingers as if he is moving an invisible paperweight, when talks I get goosebumps.. (😆 ) I thought he will say at any movement that "Jao iss sheher ke saare - - check karke aao ".. But, the man never stops until he gets the culprit.. He has found out the mystery behind CIDs success. He says "People love mysteries. They like the suspense and to try out to guess the culprit. Besides we have got a solid team ( 👏) . Common man relates to characters and thats why CID is so much popular after 13 years of long run."

We asked him didnt you get bored by playing same character again and again? He says "I always see the love and affection of people we get. There is no question of getting tired (⭐️) It takes 4 to 6 days to complete one episode. And we shoot CID For all 30 days but still not bored - the reason is there is something new in every episode. Different locations, guest artists add to the fun"

He is as much eager for the CID movie as he always is for each episode.. He says "The vision is very large. It will be made on a very large scale. Brain behind CID aka B.P.Singh is working on the story these days.. The output he gets is the thing i am looking forward to.. "

Ghari jaycha kantala yeto ka? (Ever tired of going to home? - Dayanand shetty)

I got a SMS some days before- Alibaba forgot the word to open the door of cave so he just said name of a person and the door opened.. Who was that person ? Ofcourse Insp. Daya. Dayas image says it all. 6ft hight, muscular body and innocent smile on the face, this is what makes Dayas personality. ( 😃)

According to him the repeat telecast of the show has a great hand in shows Grand success. As his name is Dayanand shetty and so is the name of his character(Daya) It makes him very happy and satisfied..

One character for 13 years.. Are you not tired? His answer on this is "Are you ever get tired of going back to home? Set of CID is second home for me. So i go from one home to other. No question of tiredness. Besides we are concentrating on out door shoots now. We just came from Pune and now planning to go to Aurangabad and Kolhapur."

Though onscreen Daya seems a bit serious, he is always very gracious and happy to talk with people like us.. He was much praised for his performances in "Jhalak dikh la jaa".. He is very eager to work in CID movie. He says as we dont know the story yet its a big mystery for us too..

Darwaja tod Diya

"Darvaja tod do"- The sentence is USP of Dayas character. In real life too he had to break the door and that to of his own house.. (😆) His daughter, Viva, locked the latch by mistake when her mom was outside. When she get to know that she is locked she was all in tears and was crying loudly.. As no one can think anything they called Daya immediately.. Now the situation was that kid was crying inside and wife was in tension outside. The whole building was outside his door. A real scene.. As all were trying to open the door people started talking "You break the door in serial so easily then what are you waiting for?" Daya then broke the doorand proved his name 👏

Daya says "in serial or films breaking door is not considered as a big thing and so some constable is asked to break it but now i made this work very stylish."
