I agree with you...RS was launched on 19th of June 2010!!!! The show has completed 168 episode's so far and might not get over for sometime!!!! The writers have to fill up the gaps but I think Jagirdar part is over thats why they are not showing anything related to them. And the writers are focusing on the Garodias...RS had a maharastrian backdrop and now its shifted to a gujrati backdrop!!!!

Response to Subaru - Rinku & Himanshi already have other roles lined up, so I think it's safe to say that Sarla & Sunita are gone. In fact, Himanshi's new role was announced the day Sunita walked out on DK. In fact, the whole Jagirdar track after their arrest was needless - they could have had the next episode onwards focus on Sandhya searching for Neeraj and finding him, and he regaining his memory somehow.

Response to Shwetha - RS was launched on 19th of July, not June. At any rate, other shows such as Jamuniya, Kashi, Sarvagunn et al have lasted less than a year, while Bandini and Jyoti have run almost 2 years (I'm not counting things like Ramayan here)

Actually, the RS backdrop was somewhat mixed - the Savratkars were Marathi, but the Jagirdars weren't. Initially, I thought that Neeraj was Marathi - turns out that he's half Marathi from his mom's side. But it's strange how his family name has changed - even when Bhosle confronted the Jagirdars on his disappearance, his name was mentioned as Neeraj Pradhan, but suddenly, the family name is described as the Garodias.

I don't miss the Jagirdars, but I certainly miss Sandhya's tais. But I don't have high hopes of seeing them back, if they weren't even there for the wedding. It's sad how Adi & Mohan were un-utilized in this show. 😔
