India won the toss and opted to bat against Pakistan in the first ever one-day international in Abu Dhabi, looking to extend their winning run.
India have won nine of their last 11 one-day matches, including a 4-1 series victory in Pakistan. Mahendra Dhoni and Ajit Agarkar returned to the side that beat England for a fifth time on Saturday. Pakistan, who beat Sri Lanka 2-0 last month, selected a strong side including pace bowler Rao Iftikhar. The 16,000-capacity Zayad Cricket Stadium is the second venue after Sharjah to host cricket internationals in the United Arab Emirates.Proceeds from Tuesday's match will be donated to survivors of the earthquake that rocked Kashmir last October, killing more than 74,000 people.
