hi everyone... i've just joined this amazing forum today. How are you all?
Lemme introduce myself briefly. My name is Ashique. I'm in Malaysia at the moment... studying Engineering at an Aussie uni (branch campus). I'm originally from Bangladesh, though two of my grandparents are from India. I have a great interest in music and love to sing hindi songs (my friends and relatives say that I can be a good singer... lol). I have a dream of getting enrolled in an Indian music school to be a singer, but have no idea where to join in.
Apart from watching the local TV serials and movies, Bangladeshis also love to watch Bollywood movies and hindi serials in Sony, Star Plus, Zee TV, and so on. We have really enjoyed the music competitions "Indian Idol" and "Fame Gurukul". The capital city, Dhaka, rocked when Abhijeet Sawaant and other Indian Idol contestants came to show their live concert. Now we are waiting for another great show by the Fame Jodi (Qazi & Ruprekha).
I've got some Indian friends studying in my uni... they are really nice and friendly... and I hope to make some new friends in this forum as well.
Back at home, I used to watch some Sony serials and my most favourite one is "Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai". To me, it's an amazing musical blockbuster... almost like an Indian movie...hehe. I came to Malaysia in February this year and since then, I missed many episodes of KYPH. Last weekend, I was lucky to discover the site zippyvideos.com and so I've watched all the episodes that I missed for last two months. Many thanks to Nomi for uploading the videos. While I was browsing, I also came to know about this site where I can also talk about the serial(s) besides watching them.
