First of all

very nice thread

The thing which I adopt from CID is that now I observe ppl more keenly

and try to remember face of every suspicious person so that I cud help in making sketch...

and I always check the id card before giving any info (electricity reading etc.) to any person and in many other ways I learn to fulfill my duties for nation and really this show helps me becoming a responsible citizen of India

and most importantly CID makes me believe that Police is not fully corrupted department and we should fear from going to police there are some good persons and some bad in every field / department and police dept. is not an exception...

so help police and try to become a good and responsible citizen is what I learn from CID........ 😊

Apart from other things, CID has helped me get over my mother's sudden demise.In Father's case we were mentally prepared ( a case of till then barely identified strain of Hepatitis C), but Mum succumbed to a totally sudden cerebral attack.
Any mention of mother used to move me, who is normally a hard nut , to tears. I hid away all her pictures. My kid asked me so many times, 'How did my grandma look like?" . but I could not bear to show them or look at them. One day some in-law smilingly said,"Your kid is just like you in every way!" And I burst forth "How do you know what I looked like or did at five years, or even at fifteen? The ones who knew are gone gone gone!" I know it was totally uncalled for !!
When I saw Flashback and found, here was a suffering soul who knows his mother died because her son could not recognize her and that keeps eating away his innards, but he gathered enough strength to stand up again and gain repute in his chosen field, it gave me strength to get over my bereavement. Well, I can't say an more, you all will understand.

Now a fun thing. Mr X, my personal bearer suddenly said, "Madam are you sure phones here are not bugged? They show in CID......"
The CID bug has bitten him also.

Auntyno1, I can truly understand what you have gone thorugh...... this was the same that had happened with my grandfather a month ago..... and I seriously have a very weak heart, always emotions at the top, and this was the worse to happen ever...... my grandpa was all healthy, no trouble with him, we clicked photos the last day, we celebrated his birthday, we bought him a new car, I spent my first New Year with him, he bought me books walking all the way very long, and then you suddenly see that the person you love like hell is suddenly not around you.....

My condition is still worse, I always have to keep strong in order to keep my grandmom and my dad smiling... I've to be their "strenght"..... I always have to hide my emotions for them, can't tell them what I'm feeling... sometimes, I do cry when I sleep, kind of make me feels better..... anyways sorry for boring you'll out, but I actually was really ventilating myself out here.....

well said everyone....

for me, I have explained this once in another thread. It is a passion to me always and will remain as a passion forever. just like you all said, i am in love with this show and mad about them. so will try to connect everything in my life to it and enjoys being part of it.
