I would like to see father explaining to Radhika that she does not have wear sindoor using your explanation that rituals are not important. The two women who were talking are just common people who believe in rituals and their conversation was realistic as was Radhika taking it seriously because the pandit had brainwashed her pretty badly.I too hope that chunnu munnu do not show too many rituals and keep the relationship spiritual. They kept the rituals to the minimum in the first CB1 for first few months and then later on started becoming ritualistic. Then the progression was really bad afterwards. I don't want to see punishments, tantriks, gufas etc in CB2.Very good point about Meera and Radha not following rituals. In fact, Meera was very progressive for that age. Despite being a rajput queen who was supposed to be in veil all the time, she left home and did not keep veil. She mixed with people of all castes from both genders despite it being a medieval society. But chunnu munnu's creativity is linked to showing how Radhika would be able to follow rituals despite being prohibited by various people.
Thats what I don't understand....why do the rituals have to be so important in a spiritual story.
