Ranbir was the original choice for Band Baaja Baaraat

At a recent awards night, Ranbir Kapoor bumped into Band Baaja Baaraat director Maneesh Sharma. The star congratulated the debutant director and told him "Hume bhi yaad rakhna." Maneesh replied, "Yaad toh kiya tha lekin aap aaye nahi."

Do you guys think Ranbir would have been a much better choice and lost out in a good film? Or was Ranveer the perfect choice and he suited the role best?

Ranveer was the perfect choice but I definitely think Ranbir might have done a great job as well.

I love both ... Ranveer has done it perfectly ..
But I have to admit that Ranbir is a much better actor so yeah he would have rocked it as well <3

Am glad it wasn't Ranbir in the film. Sometimes we need new talent/fresh face. And Ranveer did an awesome job in the film, so no regrets!
