'Let me buy a flat for myself first' - Sid Mallya

Siddharth or 'Sid' Mallya is the heir of the iconic Mallya family. He has multiple roles to play as a Director of Royal Challengers and General Manager of Marketing in the UB Group.

Pinkvilla.com got an exclusive interview with Siddharth Mallya where he talked about his Bollywood aspirations and the constant linkups with Deepika Padukone. Read on.

Pinkvilla.com: How would you describe your childhood?
Sid: I really don't want to comment on my childhood since I don't remember anything!

Pinkvilla.com: What is your daily involvement with Royal Challengers and the UB group? How do you manage your time between the two?
Sid: This is like asking a parent how you manage your 2 kids. My aim of involvement is therefore ethical practice is to transform with RCB as a team so that they look perfect in terms of individual motivation and mental disposition. UB Group has been well managed by Paa himself and i believe my presence would hardly make any difference.

Pinkvilla.com: There were reports of you starting your own Bollywood production house; is there any truth to it?
Sid: Yes, I have heard the same about me launching my own production house.When I get the licence of bollywood film making then I shall lay out this statement as well

Pinkvilla.com: What kind of movies would you like to produce? Who would be your dream cast?
Sid: I would love to see Aamir Khan and Salmaan Khan sharing screen together, and repeat Andaaz apna apna's magic.

Pinkvilla.com: You are seen at a lot of Bollywood events with Deepika Padukone, are you dating her?
Sid: Does being escorted by a brand ambassador of RCB mean dating?

Pinkvilla.com: Is it true that you gifted your girlfriend Deepika a flat worth 16 crores in Mumbai?
Sid: Let me buy one for myself first. Please do let me know if you get it on the same price for my personnel.

Pinkvilla.com: Do you have any aspirations of acting in a Bollywood movie?
Sid: Do i need that kind of fame? I face enough cameras without makeup and frankly I hate being the center of attraction.

Pinkvilla.com: What Indian languages can you speak?
Sid: Hinglish

Pinkvilla.com: How did you get to being this fit? Care to share your workout secret?
Sid: I was always fit as I am a sports person. I play hockey, tennis. It's all that running I did at Mahalaxmi race course that helped me get fit. I do zip up my mouth when I'm nearby spicy food.

Pinkvilla.com: IPL, UB, Bollywood. What more do you see in your future plans?
Sid: Well, I cannot disclose it now. I don't want people to copy my ideas.
