02/17/2011: Neeraj to marry Anjali?

GB joins the other women in the kitchen (Sandhya's not there) and Urmi wonders what's going on with Anjali and Neeraj. GB tells them that they're in love, and shows the letter. Urmi is not happy about the idea and leaves to confront her sister.

Meanwhile, Sandhya gives Dada-ji tea and he asks her to sit with him. He wants Neeraj to get married, but doesn't want to force him into something, which is why he asks Sandhya to find out what Neeraj really wants (Grandpa take a chill-pill. Your grandson has just arrived (against his will) and now you want him married?) Sandhya smiles (doesn't want to do it. But she cannot say no to his face) and leaves.

GB, her follower (can't remember her name) and the man with the mustache talk about this matter. Compared to the two women, he wants to know what dada-ji says about this (sorry, the video was very shaky so couldn't get more from that part) the scene ends with the man wondering.

Urmi goes into Anjali's room and asks her why her head is somewhere else, why she's keeping a secret, etc. She is in love. Anjali asks her how does she know, where Urmi replies that everyone knows, because they've read Neeraj's letter. (neeraj you fool. If you wrote Sandhya's name on the letter, you wouldn't be in this situation in the first place!)

Dadi-ji, Neeraj, Anmol and Hina are together and Dadi-ji tells Neeraj that there is someone who keeps on distracting him. She asks him who is the girl he likes this much. Neeraj tells it is Sandhya, and Dadi-ji is very happy about this. But she wonders whether Sandhya knows about this, since she didn't get that idea when she talked with her. Neeraj tells her that she did give him an answer. Anmon and Hina are standing nervously.

Meanwhile the other ones tell Dada-ji about this and let us just say that he is very surprised.

Later, he goes to Neeraj's room and talks about the letter and the fact that he knows Neeraj's in love. (Throughout the entire conversation they do not mention any name! 🤢) Dada-ji accepts the relationship and he wants them to get married as soon as possible, which Neeraj agrees with.

Comments: 👎🏼 👎🏼 👎🏼 Oh no! Seriously, I'm hating all of this. Next week will be way to crazy with Sandhya's heart torn into pieces, and Dadi-ji, Anmol and Hina won't be able to say a thing.

Dislike this so badly. Already wrote most of my thoughts on the EDT but just to reiterate, Neeraj and Anjali have only known each other for around a week. How the hell can she be willing to marry him and be in love with him so quickly, and how can the family esp. dadaji be planning to get him married off after only meeting him a week before when they're not on great grounds with each other as it is.

Dadaji is going to publicly announce his grandson's wedding and Neeraj is going to expect it to be Sandhya's name but instead he'll hear Anjali's name. None of the three who know will probably be able to speak up and say a thing, and IF (and that's an unlikely if) the misunderstanding is quickly cleared up then we will probably see a whole bunch of anti-Sandhya's including GB, Anjali, Urmi, the aunty and uncle too (considering they seem to want property so much). Neeraj might be willing to leave the family to be with Sandhya elsewhere but I don't think Sandhya will ever tear him away from his family.

🤢 was the only reaction I could have to this. And it's surreal - not once does the bride's name come up? And like p0lkad0t mentioned, does Anjali really believe that it's her that Neeraj is smitten by - they don't even know each other, they've not had a proper conversation

I doubt Dadaji can announce that Neeraj will marry Anjali, since Dadi told him that it's Sandhya that he wants. Since Fridays get to a major climax, that's what might happen tonight. Either keep it hanging over the weekend, or get it cleared by the end.

This is moving unrealistically fast: even allowing for real time to TV time leaps, it's just been a few days that Neeraj has joined this family, and the first thing they're thinking of for him is marriage? Yeah, for him & Sandhya, it's not too early. But I really hate this twist. What's more - given how other serials went on to totally lose the plot - see AkBA, for instance - I'm just scared that after Yuvraj & Sandhya, they'll have a Neeraj-Anjali marriage b4 they unite Neeraj & Sandhya. Please no - these 2 have waited long enough. Get this embarrassing misunderstanding cleared, let Neerdhya marry and after that, let GB start plotting against Sandhya and Sandhya, like in the Jagirdar house, keep exposing & humiliating her.

I thought Jyoti serial was destroyed after a certain point . But they destroyed RS so much . It is beyond repair ... Now time is coming where RS will end

They're ruining the show. It could still be rescued I just hope it doesn't reach a point of no return where it's just messed up totally, like Neeraj marrying Anjali ugugh
