The buzz is that Star Plus and Director's Kut are already planning the return of the cult show, Bidaai...

Rajan Shahi's Bidaai as we all know, has been the most popular show on television over the past few years.. The Star Plus show also holds the distinction of being the only show in television history that went off when it was fetching an average TVR of 4+.

Well, the buzz now is that the channel and Director's Kut are in fact planning a Season 2 of the cult show.

Our source states, "There have apparently been few closed door discussions between the channel and production house, and the planning of Bidaai 2 is already underway. The new concept for the show has been blocked, and work will soon start on the casting".

The channel is working towards launching Bidaai 2 somewhere after the IPL season. And if sources are to be believed, Rajan Shahi will in all probability get back the original slot of 9 PM, which is presently occupied by Sphere Origin's Gulaal.

Our khabroo confides in us that unlike the first season which revolved around the close bonding between two sisters, Bidaai 2 will have the story of two sisters, who have a bitter feeling towards each other. It is not still not very clear whether the makers will go in for a completely new storyline, or take forward the love-hate relationship of Khushi and Tamanna, daughters of Sadhana (Sara Khan) and Ragini (Parul Chauhan) respectively..

We hear that Sonali Jaffer has yet again been given the onus of developing the script for the new season.

Sonali Jaffer though remained clueless of such a development, and said, "I have no idea at all".

We tried contacting Producer Rajan Shahi, and even sent him a text message, but he remained unavailable..

Guess the return of Bidaai is a welcome news for the industry on the whole!!

let bidaai get another time slot it will be nothing but rona dhona, will n ot watch that show even for parul if they touch GUlaal

I really hope not, this is another one of the best soaps I have come across and now the hateful Dushyant is turning out better

Yes and it's not compulsory for bidaai to have the same time as before.

hey if anyone of you say anything about bidaai then you willl see what we will do and one more thing the person who kep the title gulaal might end or shifted shoud first know how to read because in that article they said nothing about gulaal it might get shifted but it will not end it will probbabily take beheinein slot or some other slot
