Does Naitik really know me? Dear readers, it was such a relief this week after the tension about Rashmi's refusal to marry Suraj ended. Naitik and I were all set to attend my cousin's party.

However I was stunned after Naitik insisted that I should wear a salwar suit. He had picked out a beautiful red suit but the women in our family only wear sari after marriage and I knew Gayatri Ma would not like me wearing the outfit. Rashmi came to our rescue by taking the women of the family for shopping so that they would be unaware of what I had worn. I must admit I got nostalgic after wearing the outfit as I remembered my pre marriage days. The outfit was very comfortable and much easier to handle than a sari. Even Naitik was excited to see me in the suit. We had a lot of fun at the party and was a welcome change for me and Naitik. I felt so happy to attend a party after so long away from all the tensions of daily life. What came as a shocker to me was that at the party couples were quizzed about their partners and I was glad that I got all the answers right which shows that I know Naitik really well and am well aware of his likes and dislikes. However during Naitik's turn he did not get even a single answer right. I was stunned and wondered whether Naitik has ever tried to know me at all. I was hurt and upset but Naitik cheered me up with his cute expressions. Since Valentines Day was around the corner I decided not to get upset and forgave Naitik. The incident made me realize how important it is for couples to spend time together and put in an effort to understand their partner. I think couples should spend time together discussing daily issues and trying to find solutions together. You can also plan fun outings which will help you both get closer. You need not spend a lot of money even something simple like watching a romantic movie or serial at home or maybe even cooking together can be fun. I decided to do something special for Naitik on Valentine's day. I surprised him by decorating the room and also arranged for a cake. Naitik loved my surprise and we spent some romantic moments together. If you're wondering what to do for your special someone this Valentine's Day, here are some of my suggestions. Try them and let me know if it did the trick. - You can surprise your partner by compiling photographs of special moments spent with them. - Pen down your thoughts about your Valentine and read it out to them or you can even turn it into a poem or song. - Enroll your partner and yourself in some course that interests both of you so you can spend some fun time together. - Pamper your partner by preparing their favourite dishes - You can also plan a candlelight dinner for your partner or if both of you enjoy streetfood like I do just gorge on panipuri, sevpuri and other treats available. -Lastly don't forget to capture these special moments on your camera and you can cherish those special moments forever. Friends today being Valentines day I hope that you have made your plans about how you will woo your Valentine. How about surprising your Valentine the way Naitik did, by convincing me to try something different rather than my normal sari clad look.
